This franchise had only ONE staff member tending to several customers, including a family of five. It took 30 minutes of standing in a line of that family and another group of two before I gave up and left. The employee looked as though she was about to have an anxiety attack. She was being forced to run around to take care of everything that should have been delegated to other employees, but there weren’t any others. Just that one poor young lady who was forced to tend to the needs of customers while juggling the other tasks associated with running a restaurant. I don’t give my business to any franchise that treats their employees this way. They should have shut down until other employees could be sourced from other stores. But now they have a PR problem because they forced one employee to tend to an entire restaurant during the lunch rush. I recommend not eating there. The wait time is insane and the one employee on staff today should not have been there, not because she was doing poorly, but because she was being severely overwhelmed by being there alone. I hope that she was able to get through this mess. Please, miss, don’t continue to work for a franchisee who can’t even be bothered to advertise for more employees...
Read moreI went there today and ordered a chopped salad. Something i have ordered before and really like. My experience today though was not so good. Misty was making my salad. She didn't put the lettuce and spinach in the bowl to chop even after I asked for it, stating that it was already chopped. I don't call whole spinach leaves chopped. When I insisted, she seemed put out that I asked for this, made two stabs at the entire salad and poured it in the bowl. When I got back to work and began to eat the salad, I began wondering why they call it a chopped salad. The tomatoes were still almost whole slices and so we're the cucumbers. And of course the spinach was still almost whole leaves. It was obvious she was in a bad mood, and shouldn't have been working the counter. Somebody needs to show her the pictures on subway's website as to what a chopped salad should look like! This store is very convenient but if I ever go in there again and she is working the counter, I'll turn...
Read moreThe first thing we noticed when we picked up our mobile order was that the sandwhiches weren't wrapped separately, like requested in the special instructions. The sandwhiches also weren't completely wrapped. When my brother asked her to rewrap the them, she refused because we had already touched the bag. When we got to work and opened our sandwhiches, my brother's was very messy with ranch soaking through the wrapper onto his work clothes. Mine hadn't been toasted, had 3 very small tomatoes and regular mustard instead of honey mustard. I did try eating it, but there was too much mustard on it for me to eat since I can't stand regular mustard. I have worked in fast food before and therefore feel I have more patience than most because I realize mistakes happen, but this was just laziness.
