Unfortunately, I visited this location on today and had one of the worst experiences ever in food service. I ordered a Ragin' Cajun chicken sandwich and as the cook placed the chicken on the open grill he left the paper/ plastic tray used to weigh it as a cover over the meat while on the grill. I asked him to remove it. He and another employee stated that the tray was (food safe) and they had done this in front of Health inspectors before. I explained to them, if you want to create steam or heat, increase the temp or use water. But paper over food is unsafe, because that contaminates the product. I immediately asked for a refund. They stated they do not do refunds. I asked her again. She went to the back, and a female employee came out, who did not identify her self. I explained the the scenario to her. She told me, she could not give a refund, and her next statement to me, blew my mind. She said never come here again. The other employee stated that the owner would have to approve a refund. In the meanwhile, they said I had to wait on the owner to get my refund. When the owner arrived, by which time I had contacted the Collierville Police dept, he informed me he has a policy, once the order is completed, "No refunds. I told him, the order was still being cooked, when I observed his employees violating health code. Long story shortened, the Collierville police dept didn't enforce the law, and require him to give my refund. No signage. (Can you say, free sandwiches) Going forward, my dollars will be spent in Germantown. And yes, I will file a complaint over a $7 sandwich with the Collierville Chamber of Commerce and BBB.

Read moreFirst, fries were great and so was sandwich! I went on Thursday 3-3-16. Got out of class from U of M Collierville and it was almost 8:30pm. Dreading hitting McD or similar and decided to try Steak Escape. Was met by NEW owner. They had my sandwich (Cajun Chicken) ready in a minute. Hot and fresh. New owner asked how I liked it. They are taking feedback since they just acquired the restaurant from the previous owner a few weeks ago. Good time to try it again and let them know what you think. The new owner said they are concentrating on getting back to the franchise standards customer's expect. The lemonade was fresh and very good. Sounds like he has plans to refresh the look as well. The food was very good! I thought I would just eat half and take the rest home but It was so good I devoured it in one sitting. I will be back to try something else and of course...
Read moreAlright, I’m giving them a one star on their food truck experience. I cannot deal w them and I really Hope the next time I see their food truck I remember not to buy anything!! Both times I ordered a rajun Cajun sandwich and it was not good at all. First the bread is so huge, you can’t even get anything out of the bite but bread. Secondly, they thin slice the chicken and it’s so thinly sliced that it ceases to exist in the sandwich. Secondly, I placed another order for someone else. The difference between how the sandwiches and food was prepared compared to what I received was noticeably different. Thirdly, they hardly put any meat on their items. If I wanted to eat lettuce and tomatoes, I’d go to Kroger. I could make a better sandwich than these people and you know what I absolutely will instead of wasting money w them!!!! Eat at your...
