First time at this spot with two friends on a busy Friday evening—waited about 10 minutes for a table. The place was packed, and while the decor felt a bit overdone and not quite my aesthetic, we were excited to try the food. Started with some warm sake (which was great), though service was noticeably slow. We ordered grilled squid as an appetizer—chewy, flavorful, and definitely a highlight. I also tried their clear broth soup. As a big fan of light, comforting soups, I really enjoyed it, though the mild seaweed/fishy aroma wasn’t my favorite part. For mains, we went with a few sushi rolls. I took a recommendation from our server and got a roll with crispy shrimp—huge portion and really tasty. My friends ordered a couple of other rolls and we shared everything. All the sushi was good, but nothing that stood out as extraordinary. Overall, it’s a decent spot if you’re nearby and craving sushi, but it felt pretty standard. Not bad by any means—just not a place I’d be rushing back to.

We got a reservation for my birthday, and got sat at the hibachi grill. This was fine, though it made it a little awkward to talk to each other. Overall, their food and drinks were great as well as our chef! My rolls were delicious and the chicken fried rice was garlic-y, which I enjoyed. The only issue we had was our waitress (older Asian woman with glasses). She was very dismissive and did not check on us at all. We had to keep getting her attention. Our drinks came AFTER our food due to there being no bartender. I'm not sure who was making the drinks then. When we asked to split my tab amongst my friends, she was very curt and rude. In the end, she was a shadow on a good night, but it was still enjoyable.

The food was way over salted. We ordered our steak medium and it was well well done so bad that it tasted charred. Our chef burnt the eggs that go into the fried rice and then burnt the rice so much that it had a charred taste. He had the grill up way too high and then half way through the meal reached down to cut it down but by then it was burnt. Then we asked for sauces at the end of the meal because they didn’t give us any. The chef said his cart wheel was broken so he couldn’t carry the sauces!!!!! When we finally found the waiter he brought us some and the mustard sauce was very stale. The chef told us to just shake it up! The whole experience was terrible and we brought a guest that was in town.

RUDE STAFF, I will not return. I have gone to this location since it first opened as I work nearby. Today I called and placed a to-go order. Went in to pick it up, two ladies standing at the bar computer with their backs turned to the door. I waited until I was spoken to, younger girl, long hair, wearing a dirty hoodie, and rudely says, yes? I tell her my name and I am here for a to-go order, she says OOOOK is this weird tone, like I bothered her. Turns to the computer, prints my ticket and reads me the total. I ask to see the receipt (to confirm the correct name, order and total) she literally lets out a deep sigh and hands it over. I see an 8% tip already added, hmmmm…is this normal, or did she sneak it on there? Receipt server name says Elizabeth, but probably a fake name. I didn’t say anything. Hands me the bag I open it, no fork, soy sauce or napkins. I ask for a fork, she ignores me and starts talking to a customer behind me. I say, excuse me, I need a fork and is there soy in here? She says, look again, it’s all in there. I say, mam, I don’t see a fork, can you just hand me a fork? She reaches three inches away and hands me one but drops it on the table in front of me. I say, what is your problem, why the attitude? She says, mam, I don’t have an attitude. I say, you most certainly do, I need a fork to eat my rice, don’t be rude, she says, TO BAD, DON’T COME BACK. Wow, what a trashy employee, I did nothing wrong but require a utensil to eat my food, $30.00 with her included tip and I get told to never come back to a place I’ve come to for fifteen years. GUESS WHAT, I WON’T BE BACK! Also during our interaction, I noticed a couple times she would answer the cordless phone and immediately hang up. I am assuming customers, possibly others wanting to place orders. I bet boss lady would love to know this lazy employee is telling long time customers to never come back and also hanging up on potential paying customers. I encourage you all to find another hibachi/sushi spot, all these negative reviews are about the same thing, RUDE STAFF. The owner DINH Q. LE never comments on the reviews to try and make it right for her customers. Bet she got a PPP Loan and some RRF money, but now allows her staff to treat customers like...

This is the worse location EVER. I went for dinner with a friend and was seated around 8:57pm/9:00pm. Online the restaurant closed at 10:00pm, on the door they closed at 10:30pm, however my friend and I didn’t receive our food until 9:27pm and my order was completely wrong. I order the large chicken hibachi with NO EGGS, NO MUSHROOMS, NO ONIONS, and NO ZUCCHINI. The only thing that was suppose to be in the rice was peas, carrots, & broccoli which my server repeated correctly back to me to confirm everything sounded right. Once the order was placed on the table at 9:27pm I seen nothing but eggs in my rice. I politely asked for it to be taking back to the kitchen to be remade correctly, but I was instantly told that the kitchen was closed. I then told my server I don’t want the rice at all due to the fact that I don’t eat eggs, and that he could even take it off of the plate. I ate chicken and broccoli and the salad that was included with my meal even though I asked for soup and was told they didn’t have any. Fast forward to payment time. My total came out to be $19.23 just for chicken, broccoli, and the salad that was included with my meal. I asked to speak to the manager of course because that total was just outrageous. She proceeds to make her way over to our table with the attitude before the conversation even started. I politely greeted her which she ignored the first time so I said it again. Being the manger of any establishment you should always find the solution to the problem especially when it was caused on your staff behalf. After a small heated exchange of words I informed her that the total needed to be dropped. I received an incomplete meal why should I have to pay the complete price when I didn’t receive everything that was supposed to come with it. She was basically telling me that with a large hibachi it is two chicken sides put together which is a total of $14.00, so I said ok that is exactly what I received meaning my total should be around $16.00 with taxes and not $19.23. She rudely walked off and the server minutes after came back with the new total. Long story short it’s other Osaka locations that are 100% better than this one. I WILL NEVER...

My wife and I were visiting some friends in the area and it was our last night there and we opted to go to this place per their recommendation since they spoke highly of it. Well the staff that was working the night of 6/13/21 was not a reflection of how they spoke of the place. The first red flag should have been when they told us it was a 30 minute wait, after 30 minutes we ask about it, and are told it will be another 30 minutes. We finally get seated and the waitress messes up our drink order, the miso soup comes out tasting like little more than water and with raw vegetables, took 30 minutes for our sub-par sushi, and we never got our hibachi. After about 20 more minutes we asked about the hibachi again and were told the kitchen was a "little backed up". Another 20 minutes goes by, we ask again, and get the same response, we start to ask if they lost our order (which was obvious they did) considering a 12 top that sat down 30 minutes after us was already done eating. So the waitress says she moved the order to the front (really she had to remake it) and that's where we tell her we are just done. After the mediocre at best food and abysmal service she has the nerve to put automatic gratuity on a 4 top. We speak with the joke of a manager to be completely blown off, just repeating "it goes by order", well obviously not because tables that came in after us were done before we even got our entre. The whole time other tables were having the same problem while the greedy manager continued to bark at the staff pointing out open tables when they couldn't properly serve the tables that were seated. If they cared at all about customer retention they would have apologized and waved the charge, we all have bad nights I get it, but instead to be met with such a level of lies and disrespect, hovering over us keeping our cards as ransom to sign the check when we should have just walked out 40 minutes ago. Safe to say it was absolutely the worst dining...
