Customer service sucks, the last time I was there it was awesome so was the service. Usually it’s my favorite place to go to but last night was horrible. We called ahead of time to reserve a booth and when we got there the girl at the door was acting like she didn’t know what to do and was like let me get who you talked too. The girl that we talked to didn’t really say much but it’ll be a minute we trying to see if someone can pick up an extra table. Time going by about 10 minutes I asked again she said not that long then but proceed to say would yall like the high table I said no because we explained that we had 2 small girls that wouldn’t be able to sit that high up without falling. So, she then said oh okay I understand. Her the girl that was there and 2 other’s began to talk as if we wasn’t waiting when they had booths available. I then got up and asked agin and she was like we were gonna give yall a booth but it only seat 4, I then say they are little girls so it’s enough room. Literally 30 go 40 mins for what was already available. I ordered a Parmesan crusted ribeye well done with loaded mash and broccoli. It came out with loaded baked potato a rare steak just red and bloody and broccoli. The waitress knew it wasn’t done before she brought it out. So she said I’ll take it back it won’t take long. 20 mins nothing nor did she proceed to say anything just like I wasn’t waiting. About 35 40 mins later here she come with my plate no apologies the steak medium well too pink for me, I stop her to tell her and she said do you want me to take it off you ticket and I’m like yeah. So when she seeing how the tickets gonna be I get a ticket for the drink in which I didn’t even drink because I didn’t have anything to wash down. I get her to come back and ask so I’m gonna be charged 5 bucks for a drink and my food came out twice not done are you serious. Worse night ever. They need to train them better at having customer service and waitressing. Had I been the waitress it would’ve been totally different. She wasn’t even checking back nor were there enough napkins for the table. Long post I know… but went to eat and...
Read moreHad family in town so we stopped by here for dinner. I was early so I asked the hostess for a table for 8. She said yes & advised there would be a 25 min wait. No problem for a Saturday. When they came to seat us the young lady advised we had to sit at different tables. I’m not sure why this was not stated when I asked for a table for 8. Since the tables were side by side we pushed them together. We then noticed how dirty the table, seats, & floor was. I was abt to ask someone to come & re-clean the area but a young man was already headed my way to tell me that we need to move the tables back because it’s against their policy. I explained to the young man I requested a table for 8 and asked if they couldn’t accommodate us then why didn’t they express that in the beginning. I also asked if the reason was because we would have two servers & he said yes. I then asked if one server could serve one end of the table & another could serve the other end. Instead of apologizing for the inconvenience he states “would you like to speak with a manager”? I absolutely wanted to speak with a manager at that point but my party was concerned that they would do something to the food. So we left & went to SOB right down the street where not only did they accommodate our party at the same table, but we had much friendlier service, no wait, and a nice clean environment! We typically don’t eat in at LongHorn. We normally order to go & the food is either hit or miss but after last nights experience I will never come back to this place. Even my mom who used to frequent one of the Bartlett location when she once stayed here stated how dumpy the place was compared to the Bartlett location. Great impression to make on an out of towner visiting & great impression to make on a frequent customer who finally decided to dine inside for a change. Do...
Read moreHonestly, I wish 0 stars was an option. It was my family member’s birthday and our party of 8 tried to call ahead to ensure a shorter wait time only to be told they don’t take reservations. We arrived and were told they “had to quote an hour wait,” but that they were just waiting on people to get up so they could push two tables together, so they expected it to be less wait time. An hour goes by and we checked again. The restaurant looked half empty, and we were told they were understaffed but that they were cleaning our table now. Another 30 minutes passed and we asked the hostess how much longer and were again told they were cleaning our table. We expressed our frustration that we were told that over 30 minutes ago and the hostess flat out told us, “I just work here. I really don’t care if you’re upset.” We waited for a different staff member to ask the status of our table and then we were finally seated. Then the hostess came to take our drink orders because our “waitress had stepped out.” She brought us 3 waters when we needed 5 and also told us there would be a wait for tea because they ran out. After waiting another 30 minutes for someone to bring our remaining drinks and take our order we decided to leave. We got the strong impression from the staff that they were hoping we would get up and leave so that was one less thing for them to do. Almost all the staff we observed had no sense of urgency or compassion. Not to mention the bathroom was filthy, the sink was not working right, and the roll of toilet paper was on the floor because there was no holder. They should close this Longhorn location because it’s ruining their brand. I used to love this place when we went a year or two ago, and seeing how far it’s gone downhill...
