🌟🍽️ Restaurant Review 🍽️🌟

Restaurant: Il Beruit Location: Cherry Hill

Reviewer: Erica Hawa

Experience: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

As a connoisseur of fine dining and a lover of Lebanese cuisine, I can confidently say that Il Beruit in Cherry Hill is a hidden gem that deserves to be discovered by food enthusiasts far and wide.

From the moment I set foot in this charming restaurant, I was greeted with warm hospitality and a cozy ambiance that set the stage for an unforgettable dining experience. The decor exudes an inviting Mediterranean charm, and the soothing music in the background added to the overall relaxing atmosphere.

Now, let's talk about the star of the show - the food. Each dish that graced our table was a masterpiece in its own right. The flavors were vibrant, the ingredients fresh, and the presentation exquisite. From the creamy hummus and crispy falafel to the succulent kebabs and fragrant rice pilaf, every bite was a celebration of Lebanese culinary traditions.

One dish that truly stole the show was the lamb shawarma - tender, juicy, and bursting with aromatic spices. Paired with a side of fluffy pita bread and tangy tzatziki sauce, it was a symphony of flavors that left me craving for more.

To top it all off, the service at Il Beruit was impeccable. The staff was attentive, knowledgeable, and went above and beyond to ensure that our dining experience was nothing short of perfection.

In conclusion, Il Beruit in Cherry Hill is a culinary oasis that promises an unforgettable journey for your taste buds. Whether you're a seasoned foodie or simply looking to explore the rich tapestry of Lebanese cuisine, this restaurant is a must-visit. I can't wait to return and indulge in more of their delectable offerings. Kudos to the team at Il Beruit for creating such a remarkable dining destination!

Highly recommended for: Food lovers, Lebanese cuisine enthusiasts, anyone in search of a truly exceptional dining experience.

Came here out of curiosity one Friday evening (recommend a reservation esp on weekends bc this place is VERY popular!), and have been here with a new person about every 2-3 weeks! I drive past this to get to the train every weekday morning and had only just realized I had this on my list of places to try... so lucky for me, I thankfully got a seat without a reservation on one fateful Friday in December and this might be mine and my family's new favorite place around here!!

I first brought my husband who was thrilled to have food from my (unfamiliar) side of the family and something he was willing to eat over and over again. Something about "if I say I don't want shawarma, you should be worried, because I always want shawarma." Okay. Deep feelings. But, in all seriousness, thank you, Li Beirut, because once I brought my mom here, we both tasted nostalgia. We finally figured out why no shawarma tasted authentic to our old favorite back in the UAE: there was no garlic sauce! Oh, what a revelation!! We could eat that by the spoonful, now that we realized what we had been missing!

I brought mom, she brought almost every friend she loves there, we celebrated my brother's 20th birthday, I brought one of my best friends, and the list will keep going, I'm sure.

My mom and I have gone so much (at least 3 times every few weeks) that the lovely owner recognized us (kinda embarrassing) and recommended we come not on a fixed menu day. Again, if going on Friday or Saturday, definitely make a reservation; the menu is fixed $55 per person, and you get a taste of the most popular things. Save space for dessert because you will definitely want the ice cream that has cotton candy served in a ceramic bowl, and take your main entree home bc you won't have space after all the apps!!

Enjoy and bring everyone! Hoping for an even bigger location and more parking because it's that good. Trust me,...

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Li Beirut, an authentic family-owned restaurant that left a lasting impression on me. From start to finish, my experience was nothing short of amazing. The owner, Tony, personally made sure that every aspect of our visit was memorable.

First and foremost, the food at Li Beirut was an explosion of flavors that transported me to the heart of Lebanon. Every bite was a delightful journey through the rich and diverse Lebanese cuisine. From the tender and juicy kebabs to the fragrant and perfectly cooked lamb chops, each dish was crafted with absolute precision and care.

What truly sets Li Beirut apart is the warm and genuine hospitality of the owner, Tony. It was evident from the moment we stepped into the restaurant that he had a passion for his craft and a dedication to providing an exceptional dining experience. Tony went out of his way to ensure that every guest felt welcomed and appreciated. Not only did he personally recommend some of the standout dishes on the menu, but he also took the time to engage with us, making us feel like part of the Li Beirut family.

To our pleasant surprise, Tony even blessed us with an extra dessert that wasn’t on the menu. This unexpected gesture showcased his generosity and added a final touch of sweetness to an already fantastic meal. It was a true testament to the care and attention to detail that go into every aspect of Li Beirut.

Needless to say, my dining companions and I will definitely be visiting Li Beirut again in the near future. The combination of the authentic cuisine, the warm ambiance, and the remarkable service provided by Tony and his team make it a truly outstanding dining destination. Whether you’re a fan of Lebanese food or simply appreciate genuine hospitality, Li Beirut is...

Everything about this restaurant is superior. The food is excellent. And sometimes that's enough. Delicious food that surpasses your expectations. But the duo that is Tony and Patricia who own this gem bring an unmatched level of hospitality and warmth to the experience that make this restaurant in a class of its own. Tony will make sure you're happy and comfortable from entry to exit, and his wife Chef Patricia is so talented. Everything had so much flavor. When you come through the doors, you're greeted as if in their home. And if you're not familiar with Lebanese cuisine, they will guide you. I had a mix of cold mezze with warm pita. Hard to pick a fave but the smoky, creamy baba ghanouj always wins me over. Creamy tangy labne, perfect hummus, mouhamara, and several more. So good! The Fattoush salad has crispy, light pita chips on top which I'd never seen and will be copying in my kitchen! Those were fun for dipping into the mezze too. Had to try the grilled halloumi cheese and fig jam was a fun duo and the shrimp in a creamy sauce with Arak was also terrific. The Lahme Ba'ajine has crispy light pita and seasoned ground beef which I topped with red onion, tomato, and lettuce and tahini is the perfect condiment for it. Felafel is my weakness! Crunchy as ever, golden brown, and fluffy inside. More greatness. I finished with the Ghazal Beirut, a creamy white ice cream topped with almost featherlike halvah that had been magically converted into wispy airy-ness and ground pistachio. Li Beirut has hundreds of 5 star reviews because it's just so good. Fairly priced. Authentic. Go, savor, enjoy, and repeat... Thank you Tony and Patricia for what you've created here. I loved it and can't wait to return.

Li Beirut is a gem of a restaurant on Collings Avenue in Collingswood with convenient off street parking. The restaurant is charming with the open front porch with al fresco dining as an alternative to the light filled interior dining room. The cozy decor makes one feel they are dining at a friend's or relatives home, rather than a dining establishment. The owners, Tony and Patricia, are friendly and welcoming. Patricia is the chef de cuisine who lovingly prepares all of the Authentic, Lebanese cuisine. It is, flavor packed and so fresh, all homemade savory dishes, beautifully plated and presented and are a feast for your eyes and your palette..Tony is the host and runs the front of the house and charmingly greets each guest like long-lost friends. My guest and I tried one of the tasting menus, and it was absolutely delicious. Dessert was a sampling of Lebanese ice cream with a type of cotton candy strings on top, , a set custard made with lebne and tapioca starch with rosewater and two kinds of baklava--pistachio and almond. If you like Mediterranean food, you have to make this one of your new favorite restaurants, i would suggest you make a RSVP (the place was busy on a Sunday night) and be prepared to enjoy beautifully sourced and presented food in a sparkling clean, friendly atmosphere . BYOB. Update: Decided to come back for a 2nd visit! 2nd time was just a good as the first visit! Same great food, same gracious hosts. This is one of my new favorite places to dine.
