Spent 1800.00 here on a system initially. Under the impression i had the best i quickly felt mislead. The sub was the lowest possible model as was everything else was as well. The selection here is so bad. They have a few choices and the show room cant handle enough power for you to truly hear anything before you buy. Crazy. They forgot to give me my stock tweeters , the sub frequency range was set wrong, the installation was messy and the power to the amp fell out and shot sparks all in my trunk until I figured that out. So i buy a new sub. Then new door speakers that were supposed to be better, they sounded worse and cost much more, then the system starts to crackle . Both front and back tweeters. They deny hearing and make me feel crazy. And tell me over the phone it will cost me 120$ for them to look into the issue ( the issue they messed up on) . This was when i cut ties. So i go to a much friendlier and helpful shop near by. And they spend hours going through the car with me ( for free might i add) to find out that there is an issue with the original installation causing all speakers to crackle and distort and give unwanted feedback. So i then buy 750$ Focal speakers from this new shop that are awesome speakers and i went to put the second set I bought from this place saburban audio in the rear of my car and come to find out they never gave me the pieces back to mount the tweeters inside the cones of the hybrid audio speakers. I remember him tucking them aside next to his keyboard and saying “extras” but didn't realize what happened until later when I needed them. I guess he needed them more than me. At this point i trashed the speakers and excepted my $500 loss. And now i am paying another audio shop 400$ to do the installation over correctly and add some foam and move some things around . All in all i lost about a grand going here. It boggles my mind they asked for money to look at something they messed up. Especially after i spent $2300.00 there in 3 weeks. It wasnt the fronts speakers or the tweeters at all. Or anything i did. It was a bad installation. Or faulty cables or the lack of a converter box. I will know exactly next Friday. Do yourself a favor and go elsewhere . I am 3k into this nightmare because of these people. They offer little to no help unless you paypaypay. The crazy part is all of this was in a month or less^! Go to Imagine audio in cherry hill! I promise you you will see the difference instantly. Much more help much better selection, much less about...
Read moreGot a new touch screen radio to replace my Ford Explorer factory radio. I like the features. Very convenient to be able to plug my iPhone in and have maps up on the screen while driving. Sound system on it so far is decent. Quality of work also looks decent. Only took about a hour to install. Only negative was I didn’t shop around before coming to this location, it just so happened to be next door to a store I was in, and not far from my home so I went. I know now I could have spent less either going to BestBuy or P.C. Richards, but thats shame on me for not doing my homework first. Radio was $397.95. Dash kit was $25. Wire harness was $15. Steering wheel interface was $90. A hour labor was $120. Hardware and connectors was $4.80. Taxes was $43.24. So ended up paying a total of $695.99. Only had the system for a day, so far, so good. Says comes with a warranty not really sure all that’s covered though. Will update post if I have any problems. I can’t say I recommend or don’t recommend this place, but I will say do your homework on different prices elsewhere first, and decide how much you are willing to...
Read moreI took my 2006 GS300 AWD, to Suburban Auto to replace my blow subwoofer. I was told that they replaced the Mark Levinson 4 ohm subwoofer with the exact speaker. I paid and left. Not long afterwards, I started here static sounds when I turned the radio on. The next thing I know my radio stops working. I took it back and I was told that I needed a new radio and amplifier. I asked him if he found the short I was hearing and he said he never looked. They charged me again to get my car; I paid and left. I took my car to another mobile auto place and had them installed Phoenix Radio Android system. The technician took me to my trunk and showed me that instead of putting in the correct 4 ohm Mark Levinson subwoofer, Suburban Auto put in an 8 ohm subwoofer that wasn't even the a Mark Levinson. He then showed me where they jimmy-rigged the radio to accept the wrong speaker, which blew out my radio. They knew that when I brought my car in, but they said nothing. I wouldn't trust them after what they did to me. They were supposed to reputable. I...
