I ordered a T-shirt from Atrevida back in November as an attempt to support the owner of Atrevida who saved literally hundreds of lives by subduing the Club Q shooter. I have not received my t-shirt, but have received several emails from the owners explaining how overwhelmed they've been and how they have been trying to contract with a larger manufacturer and are trying their best to get the orders out as soon as they can. I decided to write a review here to say that I don't care if I EVER get my t-shirt--- though I would wear it--- I just wanted to offset the other small-minded people who have complained and given one-star reviews here because, four months after this shooting where this HERO saved HUNDREDS of people's lives while RISKING HIS OWN, they have still not received their t-shirt. Their purported PURPOSE in buying the t-shirt in the first place was to show support for this man--- and now they're coming on here and attempting to DESTROY his business because he has failed to deliver a 20 dollar t-shirt to them in what they deem is a timely manner. This is so pathetic and mean-spirited and nasty and down-right awful that I can't even articulate it. I personally want to THANK the owner for RISKING HIS OWN LIFE to save HUNDREDS OF OTHERS. I'll wear his Atrevida t-shirt with pride when I get it. And, if I never get it, I DON'T CARE! Keep my twenty bucks and have an extra beer on me. Thank you! Thank you! Thank you! Thank...

Ordered $80 of items last November and haven’t received anything. Periodically they email: they’re hiring someone to fulfill the orders. They won’t respond to my messages. It’s not okay. I supported their family, they won’t support mine. If this stuff ever arrives my granddaughter’s items won’t fit her. They state over and over that they NEVER give refunds and it’s your responsibility to have known that. There was skyrocketing demand for their products immediately after the Club Q shooting. I estimate they could have received hundreds of thousands of dollars in these orders (example: 4,000 $25 orders is $100,000, and my order was $80……..) in which case or any case they would have been in a position to pay a company to fulfill them and of course needed to have a commercial firm handle it. Yet the emails make it sound as if they were printing them all themselves with only 3 people while brewing their beer. And they appear to keep taking more orders on their website. There’s a tremendous amount of money involved in this. Don’t misunderstand me, Rich is a hero in all regards, but I can’t believe something this out of control has been allowed to be associated with such heroism. No other business would be allowed to operate in...

First and foremost, service was great and beer was good. The young lady, who has only worked their a short time, hustled to take care of customers and was very sweet. However, it would have been nice to have someone there in a management position to deal with the loud obnoxious foul mouth drunk patrons. Yes, I do realize it is a brewery, and people are going to get loud. But obnoxiously dropping the f-bomb every other word tends to ruin the atmosphere for customers who are trying to relax and enjoy a beer. I could see the discomfort on the faces of other customers. For that reason, I have no plans of returning to GSB. On a separate note, I like dogs, and like to see businesses allow dogs into their establishments. There is a certain level of responsibility that comes with allowing dogs in your business. One of those responsibilities is cleaning up the dog hair. Break out the shop vac daily and suck it up. The dog hair was in excess, and it was obvious that the floor etc had not been cleaned in awhile. Like I said, I like dogs, but I do not like dog hair floating around the room and landing in my beer. ...

Proud to Share This Story with the World As the host of American Dream TV, I’ve had the privilege of meeting incredible people across the country—but Jess Fierro’s story truly stands out. She’s not only Colorado’s first Latina Head Brewer, but also a trailblazer in business, culture, and community impact. Her journey, her passion, and her purpose are everything the American Dream stands for. I’m proud to have featured “Breaking Barriers & Brewing Beer” on the American Dream Network, now streaming on Amazon Fire, Apple TV, and Roku. This isn’t just a story about brewing beer—it’s about courage, culture, and creating space for others to follow. Jess, thank you for letting us tell your story. Keep leading with heart. — Daniel Padilla Host, American Dream TV

In November 2022, after the mass shooting at Club Q in Colorado Springs, I was compelled to order a shirt to support the small local business of Rich Fierro, who stops the gunman. The business was flooded with orders, and I received multiple emails thanking me for my order, but saying that the orders would take some time to fill due to the amount of orders that flooded in. I didn’t mind because I really just wanted to contribute to their business and thank him for supporting the LGBTQ community. Today, 11 months later, I received my T-shirt in the mail. Thank You to Atrevida Beer Company for supporting the LGBTQ community and being people of their word. They are an amazing business and I hope to be able to visit one day if I’m in Colorado Springs.

Great little spot off the main drag, with many a delicious brew to sample and friendly staff to help you pick your poison. Dog friendly, ample parking, unisex bathroom and a host of branded gear for purchase. If you buy a branded beer mug they'll keep at the bar for safe keeping, and it's there for you to use whenever you return. No food options available on the day I stopped by, though a mention of food trucks was on the blackboard (perhaps available other days?). I tried their red ale which was absolutely delicious, and I would recommend readily. Good spot for small groups or a cheeky solo drink, but it did feel a little gruff compared to other local breweries I've seen.
