Pikeview Reservoir — Attraction in Colorado Springs

This lake is surrounded by garbage. Empty night crawler containers, beer cans, tarps, and other misc trash. I'll dedicate a few hours out of my day sometime to pick up trash only because this "reservoir" is very fun to fish compared to Quail Lake. The "parking lot" is very small and allows you to enter one side of the "reservoir." If you want to go to the other side you have to walk through this sketchy dirt area and have a bunch of dogs bark at you or go around where all the bikers bike. I wouldn't keep the fish that come from here or eat very many of them for obvious reasons. The first thing I caught out of this lake was a green trash bag. This feels like a very unsafe place and I wouldn't recommend you come here alone or if you do you should probably be armed. There is a public portable bathroom and me and my pops saw a junkie shooting up on the back side of the building as we were heading out. Not worth your time. The dog boarding place is super loud and there is a constant sound of dog barking. Along with this the road noise is constant. People left dead fish every about 10 feet along the shore which attracted a huge amount of flies gnats and mosquitoes. Got a couple bites using a Carolina rig but couldn't reel anything in.
