Appears my experience is similar to most, at this location. Atrocious meal. Haven't visited BK for breakfast in a very long time. Was hyping the breakfast croissantwich to my wife because from memory, it used to be half-decent. She agreed to try the sandwich - I ventured out, braving the ice and snow covered roads in hopes of attaining the breakfast i had joyfully talked about. The journey to the nearest BK was perilous but I made it, against a few odds. I placed my vehicle the appropriate distance from the speaker, in an attempt to be near enough to the microphone but far away enough to view the menu, entirely. As I glance around the menu-board it becomes obvious they could care less about your order because the plexiglass is excessively faded and blurred. You can barely recognize items on the menu, no exaggeration. I knew what I was going to order, so the unrecognizable menu items didnt affect me much. Respectfully, I order 2 sausage, egg, and cheese breakfast croissant meals, one with a medium coke and the other a large coffee, an egg and cheese biscuit with a hash round, french toast sticks, and a cinimini. I received my food in literally no time at all; I knew that wasnt a good sign, although the bag was hot and after a quick glance confirmed hot french toast sticks (they were on top). Excitedly, I slammed the gas and scurried home in hopes of preserving the freshness of the hot sticks. Landed home safely, opened the house door, ran past the wife and kid, tore open the BK brown bag and retrieved the french toast sticks. Mmm, delicious with a small dunk in their syrup. As I was enjoying my first bite of the tasty toast sticks I popped a hash round into the mix - terrible idea. The rounds appeared fresh, however, I was bamboozled. They were not fresh, at all - dry and crispy. Nervously I moved onto the croissantwich. Reached into the BK brown bag and felt around for my breakfast burger. I pulled the item out and it felt as though someone had smashed the sandwich. It was much thinner than I remember, all of the sandwiches felt "slim." Opened the translucent wax paper wrapped croissant and was greeted with the most pathetic sandwich ever assembled, perhaps. The sausage patty and egg are not visible between the croissant and at first I assumed we were gypped of our protein, we weren't though. Something much worse appeared as I separate the bread. Dry, curled, almost reddish brown sausage patty laying helplessly on the poorly prepared sammich. I wasnt ambitious enough to take a bite but my wife was. Unsurprisingly, after one chew she spit the bite out. I would prefer my meal be replaced, however, my trust in the inept Burger King staff replacing my meal and not leaving a little "gift" snuggled between the egg and cheese is very low. Additionally, heading back onto the snow and ice covered roads seems a little risky considering the odds BK will be garbage, again. Listen here, BK. Get your ish together. Other industries give the consumer an option to return their product for a full refund. The fast-food industry sucks because if your customer receives your product and they are unsatisfied with what they receive, they are left with only one option: asking the stellar employees to remake your food, in hope's they wont tamper with it (dont care who you are, it's a thought in your head when sending food back). Fortunately for my family and the ones we're close to, we wont be returning. Instead I'll watch ambitiously from the sidelines as this 62 year old company slowly disintegrates into the landfill because they refuse to innovate, properly train staff, or source food responsibly. You're r welcome for my $20, today. I think you need it more than...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI enjoy Burger King, however, if you are in Colorado Springs do not go to this one on Source Center. I put in a mobile app order for them and when i arrived at the restaurant. I fully thought they were closed. Not a SINGLE light is on on the outside of this building. Not the sign, the menu, the box, NOTHING. We pulled in anyways just to check and low and behold they are open... After making it to the window to pick up our food, we asked for some ranches and zesty sauces(we would've put it on our order but there is no way to order sauces from the app). They said that it would be $2 and some change. We had that in cash and paid. When we pulled around to make sure that we had everything. Our order had 2 cookies for $1. Low and behold no cookies in the bags. So I checked my order on my phone before going back through the empty drive through line. I verified that I had indeed ordered them. When we pulled up to the speaker box she tried telling us that there were no cookies on our order. I told her that it had to be wrong because I have my order pulled up. She cut me off and yelled "I have it in front of my face and there is no cookies". I believe that it is possible to have a bug in the system that would cause these to not show up. So i asked "Can I just show you that they are on my order and paid for?" To which she said "I HaVe iT In FrOnT of my FaCe"... again. She never asked to see my phone or my order. Didn't even offer to come around to the window to figure out the issue. Is it only $1 absolutely. But the principle. They straight up stole that dollar and were so self righteous about it. I will never go back to...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI got cussed out and denied service because I made a comment about the shift managers attitude toward me for mistaking what was on the menu. Was told āI hope you have a horrible day.ā The shift manager made it clear that she does not care for her job or the customer service that she provides. Definitely shouldnāt be working in any service industry. They must be really short staffed if she is a manager. This location has a 1 star rating on yelp, and after this visit, Iām not surprised. I go to this location often out of convenience and every once in a while I will have a bad experience, usually poor food quality. This time was the customer service and I will never go back to that location again. Iām not sure what the shift managerās name is due to her not wearing a name tag but it was Saturday, April 30, around 2pm. I never leave reviews or make complaints as I get that some people have bad days but she was just outright, disgustingly rude and showed no concern for her job or the reputation of the company she represents. The lobby was also closed but there were definitely children playing around in the lobby. Iām not sure if that place also serves as a day care for the employees which might speak to why the manger was so on...
