Carl’s Jr. — Restaurant in Colorado Springs

I went through last night to finally try it, never got the urge to try it until last night, service was okay until after I got my food, I simply requested a plain burger, they didn't make it plain. I like to try the meat with the plain when I do try places, but I got just the regular sandwich despite the receipt saying plain. I go back through and ask for it remade, the lady asks for the sandwich back opens it and takes it into the back, everywhere I've been has never taken one back due to safety reasons, so that was a big red flag for me. But the lady gave attitude when I wanted it remade, and the remake took much longer than the time it took to make the full order in the first place. I get there are other orders to be made, but when I'm sitting for 10-15 mins in the drive through for a plain sandwich, it just feels off to me. Poor service in the end, no care for customers or safety. If I was allergic to something on these sandwiches, then it definitely would have been more of an issue. Food was good after the whole incident, but I shouldn't have to feel bad for asking a simple request. I don't know what the day shift is like, but I'm sure it's a ton better than the night shift. Let me tell you why this Carl's Jr. will always hold a special place in my heart. I haven't tried the food, I haven't interacted with the employees, I haven't even eaten at a Carl's Jr. For at least 10 years.

However, my mother ate here. Specifically, she had her last meal here.

My mother came to the Carl's Jr. with her dog, Hershie, asking for water. She had no money, and she had no water.

After hearing my Mom's story, Vivian, a GM for the store, bought her Biscuits and Gravy, some meat for her pup, and a bowl of water.

Vivian had no idea this would be my Mother's last meal. She had no clue that her kindness would make it's way back to my family, and no idea that it would make such an impact. She did it anyway. AND she turned us down when we offered to pay for the food she gave my mother.

Vivian is a shining example of kindness, and wonderful customer service.

This Carl's Jr. will always be my favorite because of that small act of kindness....

If I could less then one star I would be over joyed to do so ! I go threw the drive threw , to be greeted with " what do you want ?!" Well hello ? Strike one ....
