Waited 45 minutes in the drive through (with one car in front of me) for the man at the window to shove the food out the window and close it before I could ask for napkins and ignoring my attempts to get his attention. When deciding to take the loss on the napkins I pulled forward to a parking spot to double check my food, and sure enough I had someone else’s completely different order. I went to the door to go in and get it exchanged, but all doors were locked. I knocked on the glass door to get same mans attention, who looked over at me and ignored me and kept on helping others. After 5 minutes of attempting to get his attention in an desperate attempt to avoid going through the line again, I reluctantly went back up to the order site and informed him that he gave me the wrong order and I could back up as nobody was behind me and swap it out at the door. He became very annoyed, sighed and said pull forward and didn’t respond when I said I didn’t want to wait in the now 6-7car line. With scar finally pulling up behind me I was forced to wait another 25min in line for him to hand me the same order back AGAIN incorrect!?? I didn’t pull away this time and waited for the man to correct it this time in place and I kid you not, still partially messed up the order again. I went to this Carl’s Jr. since it was close to my house but at this point I will not be returning ever again. No refund was offered, no assistance was made in a attempt to have it corrected properly and the attitude from the staff was all very displeasing. Read moreToday I went to get three steak taco salads. When I got home, the smell was obvious. On the drive, I noticed it but wasn't sure it was the food. Once a family member mentioned it...it confirmed my fear....something smelt rotten!!
We all tasted our food and finally concluded it was the steak that was old and NOT edible. I told my family to STOP eating. The smell of the meat was rancid. No one could pin point it until I finally tasted it. At first, I thought maybe the sour cream OR even the guacamole...but once I tasted the food myself...it was obviously the meat!
That can kill someone!!!!!!! Old, rotten and spoiled meat can harm people! That is NOT OKAY!.
so I called up there and told them I'm heading back to get my money back and return the three items.
Once I got there...I felt like I was in an idoitville version of twilight zone. It was so bad that I just gave up...got less money back than what I paid for it (not to mention the inconvenience). No manager was on site..only a "less than bright" team lead.
Quality is lost in our society...this store will never see me again!
P.s. on my way out...a guy was coming in and he had a burger in his hands. I asked him, "Are you returning that?"...he said yes. I said, "good luck, this place SUCKS. Just finished returning mine and it was brain numbing"...he laughed and said..."definitely not returning...
Read moreIf you’re going to leave minors to run a store please teach them customer service skills. I haven’t ordered Carl’s Jr in 5 years. This was a last resort type of thing. I ordered a simple cheeseburger and they literally served me a burger so hard I couldn’t break the bun with my finger. (I’m sure you can see the camera footage when I came back in to ask for a refund) There are two, maybe 16 yr old kids running the whole store. They are stressed I’m sure but did not know how to redirect to a manager on staff, or suggest a more appropriate time to contact a manager, the name of a manager or store number. As they couldn’t give me a refund. They had no resolution. Instead I was met with a male that looked so high out of his mind he didn’t know what to say and a female that mocked me cussed at me and flipped me off. Haha. Oh to be young again….
So I want a refund and I want you to do better Carl’s Jr! Either trains these children better or have an adult on staff to better assist...
