Dear Panera,
As a loyal customer for many years and a former Sip Club member, I feel compelled to share some feedback about a concerning trend I’ve noticed.
What was once a rare issue has become consistent: your hazelnut coffee is either unavailable or cold regardless of when I visit. This is particularly disappointing as someone who specifically joined the Sip Club for this offering. After working in food and beverage for over 25 years myself, I understand the importance of basic quality control like regular coffee station checks.
Additionally, cleanliness has declined noticeably across local locations. Tables frequently have crumbs on both surfaces and seats, even during slower periods when staff appears to have capacity to address this.
During my most recent visit, I witnessed a customer return after driving away because her chicken salad contained no chicken. Overhearing this interaction only confirmed my concerns about quality control and attention to detail throughout your operation.
These issues have unfortunately led me to cancel my Sip Club subscription and return to brewing coffee at home. The Panera I’ve enjoyed for years seemed to handle these basics effortlessly, which makes the current situation all the more puzzling.
I’m sharing this feedback in hopes that your team might revisit service protocols around coffee station maintenance, order accuracy, and general cleanliness. These fundamentals significantly impact the customer experience and your bottom line.
ps. the bottom of my coffee was filled with grounds.
DO BETTER!
Sincerely,
A Hopeful Former...

Picked up some soup and Mac and cheese from here today and this place is a complete scam worked by inconsiderate corporate goons.
The Mac and cheese was watered down and the noodles were over cooked. My grieving wife wanted broccoli cheese soup. Tried ordering a bread bowl for her. System said they were out of bread bowls. Went to the store to pick it up. I asked about the bread bowls and they treated me like I was an idiot. Turns out they had plenty of the bread bowls. I explained the online ordering issue and how I would like a bread bowl for my wife. They offered to sell me one. I asked if I could pay the difference between the broccoli cheese soup with the bread bowl versus regular bowl. $11/bread bowl broccoli cheese soup. $10 per bowl of broccoli cheese soup. They said “no. You will need to pay full price for a bread bowl.”
Out of desire to support my wife, I paid the nearly $4 for the bread bowl. I ended up paying $25 for 1 bowl of broccoli cheese soup, 1 bowl of Mac and cheese, and 1 bread bowl.
The employees here are inconsiderate and rude. The food quality is awful. The prices are out of touch with reality (can easily get higher quality and cheaper food within 1-minute of here).

Read moreVery disappointing! Text said "order ready". Went in to pick it up and guy said they only had enough multi grain bread for half a sandwich and ask what I'd like for the other half? Told him I'd just take the half. They hadn't started the sandwich. I waited. Then, he gave it to me and I asked him to remove the charge for a whole sandwich and charge me just for the half. He said he needed to get the Manager. Autumn (Manager) came out and asked if I wanted a refund or slip of paper indicating credit for half a sandwich. Told her the credit back in my card. I explained that I usually bypass this Panera and go to the one at First & Main center off Carefree, because everytime I try to order the Strawberry Poppyseed Salad the App says you "are out". "I was able to order only the sandwich today when I had also wanted the salad but you were out. And, now this half sandwich issue!". She did not respond! I will not go back to the Dublin Panera. There have been nothing but problems since it opened! It is a shame I can no longer support the closest one evidentially due to poor planning and...
