First, when we walked inside it was like everyone stopped eating and looked at us (Awkward). What I thought was a patron at the bar drinking an alcoholic beverage looked at us and said go ahead and find a seat. OK?? We sat at a table near a big table of customers. A waitress with no smile walked by us 3x. Finally after 10 minutes of not being even being acknowledged I went up to the bar where the waitress was at. I asked if she was the only waitress working, she replied "no". I said well we have been here for over 10 minutes and have yet to be acknowledged. Waitress said "oh well I can take your order right now" haven't seen a menu yet. What I thought was the patron that told us to find a seat when we first walked in was also a waitress "Hilarious" she said we will get you taken care of. Waitress behind the bar gave me 2 menus. I returned to my seat and my wife and I ordered food. The not so freindly waitress took our order and said "I will try to get this in before the big order in the back. "Laughable". Received our food in a fair amount of time wings and a philly. Who I thought was the patron from the earlier greeting was actually a waitress brought us our food and informed us that she was actually off of work and that we were sitting in a blind spot. So blind that our waitress didn't see us the 3x she walked by us without any type of acknowledgement? That's weird. Anyway long story short, food was good and with being said that was our first and last time we will visit this...
Read moreMy dad and I had a really nice time here! The bar seemed very old school, plenty of seating, had a few pool tables, two bars (when staff is available), darts, and good music. Laurie (sorry if I misspelled your name) was a sweet and amazing bartender! I would hire her any day.
We enjoyed a beer together and shared the 24 count wings and home cut fries. The wing were a decent sized, comparably to those major chains where they’re usually tiny, and the price was great! We chose three sauces, Smokey BBQ, Mild, and Hot. The BBQ has a nice subtle sweetness to it with a hint of the smoke-ness. The mild and hot were unique in flavor. They had a slight stickiness to them, the mild was a great flavor and the spices were complimentary. The hot was similar but the heat kind of sneaks up on you. I would avoid the hot if you don’t like spicy. The Bleu cheese was really good! It was creamy, chunky, and didn’t taste like a ranch knock off. The fries were fresh, not over cooked, and didn’t taste like the oil it was cooked in. Assuming the kitchen does a great job maintaining the status and...
Read moreShould’ve been a red flag when we walked in and everyone was kind of milling around with drinks, but no food to be seen. Unfortunately, failed to pick up on that clue until after the fact.
Visit started well, but ended on a wha-wha. Husband and I thought we’d give Chelsey’s a try. Sat ourselves, a very nice lady came right up, got our drinks, took our order, then we never saw her again.
After waiting for about 45 minutes, another server started telling incoming people it was an hour wait for food. If someone had told us that when we had initially entered, we would’ve found somewhere else to eat. Husband’s drink had also been empty for 45 minutes at this point and no one had checked on us awkwardly sitting in the corner.
Ended up waiting AN HOUR AND A HALF for a burger and some friend food. Food was mediocre at best. Mine was over cooked and the Husband said his burger tasted like a Big Boy. Portions felt smallish. Probably would’ve been less expensive, better service, and same quality of food if we’d have gone to a Frisch’s. Probably wouldn’t have been a 2 hour round...
