Arkansas Riverwalk Trail — Attraction in Cañon City

I took my chihuahua for a long walk here and she went crazy like I've never seen her before - running like in her natural habitat, trying to jump in the river, not being snobby to other dogs so we go to different trailheads every time& she has the best time especially when there's geese to watch. It's so clean I'm amazed at how well they upkeep it and it's really peaceful. There's picnic tables, benches throughout the whole walk& doggy potty bags @trash cans, deer, physical fitness courses and regular maps/ points of interest. Very nice trail for walking. Wasn't too crowded. Very enjoyable for some fresh air and a little exercise. Enjoyed looking for animals and taking photos. This trail does have bathrooms and is pet friendly. Trail is wide enough for walking without issues and a fairly flat trail for those who can't do inclines.
