My family went to pick up a 8 piece dinner from the location on Bowles and Kipling. When I placed the order for dinner, the manager, Valentina, noticed that we had a credit voucher from the KFC office on a previously ruined food order at a different location. The general office had given our family, for a unintentional poor food order, a voucher to present to the cashier for the amount of our previous bad dinner as a replacement. The manager Valentina, asked me if I went around cheating these restaurants to acquire free food. We explained to her that the management had presented a voucher to us for the bad meal or food that we were given. She accused me, a 60 year old woman, of cheating at restaurants to get free food instead of finding out what really happened to our family on the original bad order. If sales are down at this location, I can certainly see why. When I was trying to explain my family's instructions from corporate office, there was another lady that Valentina was screaming at in the drive thru. The manager would not take her gift cards at that location. Valentina, the manager made the customer so frustrated. Valentina said she could not take the drinks back she handed to the customer, but could not give them any more of the order because she would not take the KFC gift card. The customer left frustrated and through the drinks in the trash on the side of the building and left. All while we were watching this manager handling, or not handling business. Why would you keep this very poor customer relations manager to potentially ruin your business in this location? What started this was we payed thirty five dollars for a chicken take out dinner and the chicken was cold and grisly and the coleslaw was sour. We must have just came at the wrong time and ended up with this old food. When we called to get the store when we arrived home they gave us the corporate number and they understood and were kind enough to replace our meals. Nothing more, and this really rude, uninformed and untrained manager, Valentina, is yelling at us for following corporates instructions. What a scene in front of the employee's she made. I just left immediately. One thing that stood out to us that at 5:30pm dinner hour there was one person in the drive thru and I was the only one in the restaurant at this time. I wonder if she, described as a older woman with a foreign accent, is chasing most of the business off. What has happened to our KFC at Bowles and Kipling. KFC corporate office is aware of this locations issues and suggest calling when a problem arises. Not to mention a half filled drink which my sis noticed right away so she gave us a full one. She rushed my sister thru the drive thru and was super rude. Then when I called to ask for a supervisor she refused to call one and I ask her name she refused to answer me. Instead she kept talking over me, saying who are you what do you want. So I said I'm a customer who you gave old food to. She said from what address. I told her this location. She said what is my address I said the one I'm calling I made sure to look up your location on Google and called. She said well bring the food back so I can look at it first. I let her know I was on my way to work and she said I need to save the food and bring it back by this week or she refuses to do anything. I told her I would just like a refund since this is the second time I have been given old food. I just didn't complain the first time. She is the same employee who gave us old food before. So my boyfriend and I decided to try the new chicken and waffles from here, we get to the register and the employee is high as a kite, he tells the lady in front of us that they can’t do the 8 piece whatever meal she wanted because if the cook has to open a new bag of chicken it comes out of his paycheck? So anyways we get up to the register and order our food. The food was okay but he didn’t like it so he went to get a Nashville hot meal with a side of potatoes. They call out the order number and charged us and gave us another thing of chicken and waffles. He goes back up to the register and tells them he didn’t order it and he was rudely told they couldn’t refund us because nobody knew how to give a refund because the manager wasn’t there. After some bickering in the back one of the workers decided to give us cash, we paid 12.47 for the chicken and waffle meal and he didn’t even refund us the 12.47 he gave us 12.42 but at this point we didn’t complain. So he gets back to the table and they forgot his mashed potatoes all together. We decide to pack up, get his potatoes and leave.
