India Nepal Oven is absolutely spectacularly wonderful. When you walk in there is a vibrational frequency of peaceful ease. It has good lighting. It smells good. You can feel the heat coming from the kitchen. The atmosphere is comfortable and it has art to look at everywhere. And do you know what is even better than the atmosphere? THE FOOD! The food is incredible. The food is delicious. The food is hot. Don't eat dairy? Get the chicken korma, I cannot find a better chicken korma anywhere in the state. Like lamb? Get the lamb vindaloo!! I've heard the report and my friends say ooooh yaaaa. Are you cold this winter? Then the time has come to get to India Nepal Oven and order some daal soup, it will hit the spot!! The spice level is 1-10. My best friend is a hulk and gets a 10 and loves it! I like a subtle heat and therefore order the 2. When we go with eleven people, the servers graciously push tables together for us and when they serve the rice for the table they bring it in a big bowl. Family style rice is the best kind of rice! It is all so fun and blessed. Even going alone or with one other is nice, quiet and intimate. Other than my obsession with the chicken korma, I am obsessed with Rita. Rita has been my server every time I have gone to India Nepal. She is kind, a hard worker, listens earnestly, and when you get her to smile - it is a BIG, BEAUTIFUL smile. So listen to me reader, if you want some delicious food in your tummy, get to India Nepal now. And if you can make Rita smile, you...
Read moretheir Naan is made to order, on the spot, fresh and hot. it's wonderful! nothing better than fresh bread. the garlic Naan is awesome, but the plain is too, don't be shy tring the original.
lamb briyani was fantastic, so much flavor in the rice, and aromatic as well! the tandoori chicken was on point. and had great color. it came served with grilled onions and peppers, Fajita style steaming and sexy. their rice pudding was amazing amazing amazing! it's a bit thinner than I expected but the flavor was really nice. I was stuffed but couldn't stop eating it! the samosa chat as appetizers was perfect, wonderfully balanced textures and flavors, hot and cold, all in the same dish, really sparked our taste buds. all of their sauces are amazing, especially Tikka masala and raita.
I rather enjoyed the Mango Latta drink. it was my first, but it tasted fresh and smooth and was the perfect compliment to the flavors of the food. Definately recommend trying one of you never have.
this place is so so so good. I recommend it to everyone I meet who mentions Indian food. it's in a nice location and staff are perfectly friendly and helpful without being overbearing at all.
this is a place that truly...
Read moreWe were so nostalgic for the Nepali food, we went to Denver from Colorado springs driving for 1 hour. We choose this restaurant because of it's good reviews. But when we reached there we were suprised to find people there were not welcoming. It took half an hour for food to come, even though we ordered simple dish, Nepali Thali. It was written the dish is for only one person in the menu and the portion in each plate was not enough even for a thin build person. We asked for the additional rice and curry as it is common thing while having Thali but suprised to learn that we can't get additional curry/daal. We can add only rice. So what's the point writing in menu that the dish is only for one person? And the worst thing is we were told they don't have anymore white rice as they usually don't have Nepali customer and the rice they brought was actually made for themselves. So they brought us some yellow rice. As a Nepali, I always want and do encourage another Nepali who works in US. Here, I am writing this review only because I don't want any other customer to be treated like us. They should...
