Papa Johns Pizza — Restaurant in Colorado

It’s very disappointing when there’s such a lack of consistency. We usually order pizza on Friday nights. We’ve been on the fence about the quality of Papa Johns pizza because of the inconsistency, and last night’s order proved our point. We ordered the pepperoni and meatball pizza and The Works pizza both with light sauce. *I wish I could attach photos. The first pizza had 2 HUGE dough bubbles (which I hope they didn’t deflate with their finger)...the bubbles took over 2/3 of 2 slices which means there were little to no toppings on 2 pieces. The Works pizza had SO MUCH SAUCE in the middle of the pizza and no cheese in the middle! I tried to “dab” some of the sauce off, but it didn’t really work. Both pizzas were undercooked. Sunday afternoon, April 25, 2021. Really??? You advertise a $14.95 special that has 5 toppings. I ordered a veggie 5 topping pizza, and a 5 topping meat pizza. I can't count 5 of either of these toppings on either pizza. And then .... you expect me to TIP YOU, (which I did ... unfortunately) when you can't do a simple job of putting 5 toppings on a "5 topping pizza?" Maybe a “5 topping pizza” means there should be 5 toppings.... somewhere on the pizza if you look hard enough? Nope.... not even that definition was accomplished. Maybe marinara sauce and cheese are considered toppings???? . The guy at the counter was nice, so I gave 2 stars for him. I tried posting this earlier but it wouldn’t work. I’ve been meaning to write this post since my visit last week. Today I finally got around to it. There is an old lady with missing teeth that works there. I’m not sure if she’s a new manager as my wife and I frequent Papa John’s regularly. I witnessed this lady yelling at her back-end employees and making a mockery of them. She was using vulgar language (I can’t even put in this review) and I could tell her spirit was very dark as her face looked angry. I did look up the owner’s information as I feel like it’s important for him to know the type of person he’s employing. However, I have yet to make the call as I’m hoping the store manager sees this review and responds. I hope this “heads up” gives you something to reflect on as this is a lawsuit...
