Bad Ass Coffee of Hawaii — Restaurant in Four Corners States

Great chai! Generic coffee shop setting, it gets incredibly loud in here whenever it is busy. Definitely not a quiet place to catch up with a friend. When it's busy they tend to prioritize iced and hot drinks over blended drinks so, you will be waiting a long time to get your drink. They have the best chai in the Springs area, you can taste the spices and the blended chai is next-level delicious. They have gotten really expensive and it is kind of outrageous to pay 8 dollars for a 24 oz. drink. The breakfast burritos are the same as countless other coffee chains in the area. Try their seasonal pastries as they are normally pretty good. The breakfast sandwiches are not bad and served on sweet Hawaiian bread, again they are pricey for the amount of food you are getting. Badass has great blended coffee drinks as well, the macaroon and the snickers are my favorite. The lavender lemonade is out of this world good! It is tart with the perfect amount of sweetness and creaminess from the coconut cold foam. So good! Great place to grab a drink and head off...

Walked in there & the supervisor was talking shit about a customer to the staff. I had to interrupt her in order to correct a mistake with my coffee. Also looks like the staff member she was talking to that wanted nothing to do with the conversation, but was being nice. It took 15 whole minutes to recieve my order. Meanwhile it didn’t look like she had a clue in the world about how to do her job.. Why would the owner throw a new supervisor on the floor without adequate training ?!?!?

I’ve been to this location multiple times throughout the summer, and it doesn’t take an genius to derive that this place is a revolving door of employees. Nobody behind the coffee machines look pretty thrilled about their jobs. Typically in these settings it’s due to crappy top down leadership. Based on my findings with that supervisor being on the floor as a supervisor and not knowing what she’s doing, it’s probably shitty to down leadership.. used to be a great coffee shop now it’s gone to the dumps now that revolving door has revolved...

I want to say I have a little bit of hesitation to recommend or not recommend this place. The drinks were incredibly delicious, a little pricey but excellent, and I had never had anything like it before. What really threw me was that I always ask if it's OK to write a review and take pictures. I just do it out of respect so if they would like to give any suggestions on Pictures or content, I am interested. This particular business basically shut me down, stating possible legal issues, and it needed to be approved by the owner. I am not going to be able to say much about what this place has to offer or any puritan information about the place. I am not judging them, but it is up to you all to decide if you like it or...
