We went here with the idea of comparing this to another place we like for breakfast. Service: Our server was friendly enough, but wasn't very good about checking on her tables (for me, a timely coffee refill is the marker). After several minutes, I finally asked for a refill. She said no problem, then walked away to do everything but get coffee, I had to ask again. Customer service was really highlighted with the manager interaction. Will explain later. Frankly, I think it is because she is fairly new(?) and just doesn't have her system down yet. Still very nice. Food: Food was OK. I had an omelet, hash brown pancakes, and coffee. I asked for my hashbrowns to be scattered and crispy. They were semi scattered but not cooked through. The coffee was pretty flavorless. The omelet was OK, nothing special, BUT they do have hotsauce on the table. My wife had scrambled egg with a waffle . She found it all very good EXPCEPT for the plastic that was burned into her waffle. She did not find the plastic until the very end and had eaten almost all of what was on her plate. She let our waitress know about the plastic, and as we were about to pay the check (we didn't want anything because of the plastic), the manager approached us and said she was taking care of our check. We objected to the offer as my wife had pretty much cleared her plate, but she insisted. So, what would have been a small tip for meh service became a tip almost equal to our check. The manager won't see it, but I'm sure she was told... I hope. So all in all, we found the place worth trying again, but for now, it's our second favorite place...
Read moreWe stopped in on Mother's Day. This place was slammed and we still received amazing service. Truth be told...the best service we have seen in a long time. Because it was so busy we were asked if we would be okay sitting at the bar and we were perfectly fine with that. Getting to sit a the bar gave me a birds eye view of how well and tight knit the staff is. The only way you can get amazing service with hardly any wait time (we were in and out within 30 min.) And they were crazy busy is to have a well trained staff that really works well as a team. The entire team worked togather and Sara didn't miss a beat on anything. I watched her diligently double check and prepare all the orders placed for pick up, while also waiting on the bar and answering phones. There wasn't one person there who wasn't working hard to make sure that breakfast went smoothly for so many. The food was amazing as well but service, team work and environment was still so enjoyable even though it was crammed full. I haven't been that impressed and had that type of amazing service in a very long time. They really knocked todays breakfast service outta park, every single one of the team members did phenomenal! Thank you all even the cooks and dishwashers and so on for doing your roll so well, so that we could enjoy mother's...
Read moreThis was our first visit here, after hearing rave reviews! The place was packed, so we expected delays. We were able to place our order fairly quickly, but then the rest of the visit went downhill fast. We ran out of beverages & was completely ignored by all of the wait staff. Our server was more interested in visiting with her co-workers or holding up the counters, than checking on her customers!! We had to wait almost an hour to finally get our food. My omelet was barely above lukewarm & I didn't get my toast until I was almost done eating. My husband requested no powdered sugar on his frenchtoast & it came to the table with some on. It took over 10 minutes for them to redo his frenchtoast & he still got that before I received the toast for my meal. Our server waited till we were almost done eating to check on us again. However, she was real quick to drop off the check, but had to be alerted by another server that we were ready to pay. We will...
