Pat's Philly Steaks & Subs — Restaurant in Colorado

The food there is absolutely amazing and exceeded my expectations cant deny greatness if it is consistent. was never disappointed with quality and flavor of food.

Service was kinda meh. I say this cause I worked there for a month about 4 years ago. the father owner was a super cool guy that seen potential in me and others. the son owner was self righteous and had no patients for helping growth in his employees. the assistant manager always insulted just about every customer after they left and always went behind the owners back after son owner teaching his preference of how to cook to only go against the grain of how the son owner wanted things done. it sucked having to juggle 2 methods just to have each one get mouthy with me cause I tried to balance their differences. I really wish they could of come to an agreement on how things are done. I hope they have recognized the problem of assistant manager and hope that has been fixed by now. I am not apologetic to exposing this. the crew/employees was a great team and always performed well and maintained a clean environment which made a good experience. as you can see management made me bitter towards the environment as a worker.

the environment as a customer was truly not bad at all besides being surrounded with Philly Eagles praise. one team I hate the most is the Eagles focus on the food not a football team.

so ill give credit and say this is a place to most definitely check out and enjoy a truly traditional...

Ordered a carry out order. 10 BBQ chicken wings and a 12 inch Philly Cheese Steak with grilled onions.

The food was hot. And packaged well

But... oh yes the dreaded 'but'...

Could the term "Where's the beef?" apply? Yes. The Cheese Steak was served on a hearty bun. More fluffy bun than meat. Massive bun. Tiny meat portion. Thick mongo bun. A Bun Steak Sandwich! The onions were hardly grilled, not caramelized and super crispy almost raw. Sandwich was dry and almost caused choking due to being almost all bun. I needed a chaser of beverage to continue eating it. I didn't finish it.

The wings were almost tasteless, despite BBQ sauce, which wasn't evenly coating the wings. Appeared there was a wee dollop of sauce used. My hands hardy got dirty. Couldn't tell if the wings were baked or fried. Was impressed that they were almost all 'drumsticks' with only one 'wing.' Tasteless though. Could have drowned them in blue cheese dressing to add a taste of something. But didn't. Ugh. Didn't finish eating them.

High prices for sub par fare that goes in the trash uneaten does not score well with me unfortunately. There are plenty of other places that serve better in town.

I cannot recommend this place but, support local businesses, and try it once to see if you like. Or heed this review. You'll be...

According to the reviews, i must have gone to a different pats.. My sandwich was very pathetic. I could have easily eaten this cheesesteak while driving and have nothing fall out. It was barely ANY meat. Really bad. Thick bread, but it was soft. I ordered a medium mushroom and asked for extra mushrooms and onion. There was no extra nothing on my philly. I didn't even eat the whole thing because the ends were mostly bread. I am from Jersey and had Philly cheesesteaks in Philly, and I didn't expect that quality, but from the reviews, I expected something close to quality. The meat that was on the sandwich was tasty, but I'm not satisfied with this purchase.

Uodate. I decided to give them another chance and I ordered the same sandwich but this time with double meat and cheese and I had it delivered instead of going to the store and ordering it. This time, they made me a great philly, BUT... they didn't give me double cheese. It would have been perfect if they did. So I am updating my review to say they did a great job on my double meat philly lack my double cheese. Maybe if I order my next one, I will get it just like I ordered.
