Not worth it anymore. I won’t come back.

Saying this makes me sad because Sachi Sushi has been one of my favorite Japanese restaurants in Boulder County. I recommended this place to everyone I know even if they weren’t asking because I truly hoped that everyone would support them and their delicious food. I still remember the first time meeting Chef Tsukasa. It was just him working at the restaurant at the time. We were the only customers, and we had a great conversation, talking about Chef Tsukasa’s background. He scooped miso soup for all of us. It was one of the best I’ve ever had. Even though it did take a while to get the food, we enjoyed the nice conversation. I loved the calm and laidback atmosphere there.

Sadly, our experience today was devastating. Like what others said in their reviews, the service is nonexistent. The cashier was so aloof that I actually felt like I owed her money. When I asked her a question, I would get one word answer that was not even accurate. The price on the website for the dish was listed as $16.5, and I called ahead for a confirmation of the online price and was told it was $16.5. I was not informed of the raised price or additional surprise charges, and when I asked about it they informed me that the higher price was for more expensive fish, even though I asked them for the quote for that exact dish and exact fish. They did not offer to honor the $17 price that they mistakenly quoted. I also saw the cashier grabbed the cloth in the rice without washing her hands or putting on gloves right after using the cash register.

The ramen was the worst part of this meal. The ramen had such little food for its highly marked-up price. You can see in my picture how little protein or veggie you get for a $17 ramen. It’s literally the thinnest 2 slices of pork I’ve ever seen in a bowl of ramen (the pork in the picture has not been eaten). The pork tasted good, but we were so hungry after eating here we had to cook ourselves a full dinner at home after. The broth was probably the worst part of this dish. The Shoyu ramen was so salty that we left an almost full bowl of broth there.

My goto order, Una Don, still tasted decent, but something tasted spoiled in the food. Unsurprisingly, my stomach was very upset after eating there.

The ending of this story was us leaving this restaurant forever, emotionally and physically upset. I went home, properly treated my stomach and had my formal dinner.

The restaurant used to be a hidden gem, but it has...

We really like their ramen, but I’ve got to say they don’t provide any service at all. Last time we went there, the girl forgot our order and we ended up waiting 40 minutes until we got our food. They gave us an extra piece of pork but didn’t seem too apologetic.

Today my husband and I went in again. We ordered at 2:10pm. At the time we ordered there wasn’t anyone else waiting for their food. After waiting for 40 minutes my husband went up to tell the sushi chef that we hadn’t gotten our ramen yet, and that was after we found out one of the tables received their ramen when they placed their order after we did. 20 more minutes had gone by, and we saw one more table received their ramen. We decided to go up and talk to them, only to realize they forgot to make our food, after being reminded once. The entire time waiting I made eye contact with the girl who took our order and makes ramen, but obviously it didn’t work. It was already 3:15pm when we decided to ask for a refund and leave. Their ramen is good, but they’re ignorant with their customers for sure. We weren’t the only ones waiting a long time for ramen but we were the only...

When I worked for Amazon and did my deliveries, I specifically asked for the route that would take me as close to here as possible!! I ate lunch at Sachi Sushi EVERYTIME I was in town!! Didn't matter I brought food or not, I'd be stopping!! The curry chicken is the best curry chicken I've ever had!! It was different when I first came and would pick off the pickled cabbage (I believe that's what it was. Its been a while since I've gone) but after I tried it again, I would clean the plate! Chef was always so sweet and so nice! Remember my order when I got in line and would get food out quickly! It was always busy when I went, as it should be, and fairly priced!! Wonderful place to eat lunch in a great little town!! 10/10 recommend this place to all my coworkers who did this route and never heard a bad thing!! Miss coming out here and getting food!! I crave the curry chicken!! Will be returning with my family for them to...

Best downhome Japanese food in the Boulder-Niwot-Longmont area. There’s at least one high end Japanese restaurant in the area that is superior, but so are it’s prices! Sachi reminds me more of a local mom and pop shop in Japan rather than the typical sushi place in the states. They have very reasonable prices and a warm, friendly smile from all the staff including the sushi chef. They often have daily specials such as uni and Japanese mackerel. I usually get the chirashi deluxe and it’s very good, with high quality fish and expert presentation every time. They layer seaweed and egg between the fish and rice, which isn’t something I’ve seen in the States before, but I find I like it more than the more traditional presentations. We are going back soon for Ramen Sunday and hope the ramen is as good as the sashimi!!
