Miller's — Restaurant in Columbia Heights

Came here after hearing good things.

Atmosphere: When we pulled up, I was surprised at how small the place is on the outside. Fine with me, made it cozy and adds the the corner bar feel. Has bar seating on one side, booths on the other side and a few tables down the middle. We grabbed a seat at a table.

Service: Server came over right away, handed each of us a menu. Came back 5 minutes later and took our order. Checked on us a couple times after food came. Friendly and courteous. Top notch.

Food: The main reason we came was to try the burgers and they did not disappoint! We got a California burger and a Mushroom Swiss. Also got onion rings, fries and tator tots. The onion rings were excellent. Fries and tots were good. The burgers were cooked excellent. A little light on seasoning but the beef was fresh (not frozen) and the flavor was delicious. The California was our favorite of the two. I would like a little more seasoning on the mushrooms, but small concern as this was a great burger and the price is amazing! Mondays are $5 burgers (no sides included and toppings extra. But really good deal.) all burgers are 1/3 pound. Extra patty for $2. Noticed you can get turkey or veggie burger also.

Visited 08/16/3025--"Hole in the wall", known for its burgers, "you've gotta go get" spot! We weren't immediately greeted, though the restaurant was not busy. It was fine because the vibe was very positive. We asked on how to be seated because it was our first time and were instructed to just sit anywhere. Overall, the attitude and service was still awesome throughout our experience. I have to say, their prices are super fair. It's rather come here than run to a fast food. Worth it.

Since the server said they were known for their burgers, I ordered the Dilly Don w/ tater tots w/ raw sliced red onions and a s/coleslaw (I'm a veg girl; Gotta have my veg). Yes, I used to be a server and that's how I wrote it....I ordered the burger medium and it came out well but still moist and the DILL SAUCE WAS DILLEXCELLENT! That's why I didn't send it back. That made the burger, the Dilly Don. I just wish there were more pickles to pack it. Tots were crispy.

Excellent, Excellent, have to say it one more excellent time!! by far the best place EVER to eat!! Mouth watering oh so yummy to die for burgers and fries and tater tots and onion rings and chicken strips and oh so much more FANTASTIC food!!! And don't forget about the people that work there! The oh so best, friendly, laid-back, great personalities, friendly, bubbly, jokesters, who make you feel as if you were back home eating and make you feel like family employees! I absolutely love this place and would give it 10 stars if I could! Never once had a bad experience nor have I ever had any bad customer service or any bad service for that matter!!! Great people, great place, AWESOME food, great atmosphere! And i have been going there for over 3 years now with my husband and we absolutely love it! Can ya tell!! 😁🤪.... I will continue recommending this place to anyone and everyone who is looking for what I just listed above! 10 stars people! No joke! Love ya Millers! You guys ROCK! ...
