The price is overall more pricey than the other Vietnamese restaurants. Food came out pretty slow. Staff was nice and professional. Their chili oil is the best I have had so far out of all Vietnamese restaurants. Banh Canh Cua ($17): 4/5 star. The best Banh Canh I have ever had in Minnesota. Broth thickness was perfect and it had nice natural flavor of crab. My only complain was that the softshell crab barely had any crab meat in there. I was basically chewing shells. I was expecting to get quite a good amount of crab meat for a bowl of $17 banh canh. I want to come back a second time, but I’m afraid I’ll get another piece of soft shell crab that has little to no crab meat in it. Pho Dac Biet ($15): 1/5 star. Pho Noodle was doughy and soggy, making the Pho broth cloudy. All I could taste was the doughy flavor. The meat was old and dried. I like Pho Hoa better than the Pho here. Bun Bo Hue ($15): 3/5 star. I like how light the broth is. Definitely add in their chilli oil. Meat was dried and overcooked. If the price is $13, meat is more tender, and the broth has more beefy and lemongrass fragrant, I would give it a 5/5. Mango Boba Milk ($7.5) Wayyyyy tooo priceyy for something that taste like perfume.

I orders the pho dac biet and it was good. The broth was nice. However why do they slice one meatball into 5 pieces to make it look like more? I took it to go because I was tired and wasn't feeling great. Having a bowl of pho to take home was really all I needed but I wanted to give them more business and wanted to try their egg rolls too. One thing I wish they had given more of was the packet of sauces. They should have at least asked how many I wanted. They didn’t even pack utensils or napkins too. I thought the sauces would be in little containers, but they were like ketchup packets. The egg rolls I ordered were under cooked and over priced. Three egg rolls for $9 and there were barely any filling was ridiculous. Go for the pho NOT the egg rolls. Not worth the price at all. Overall decent and I'll go back and check out more things to update this review and maybe give them more stars. Nice people, but it also took forever to get my food with no other customers. I waited over 15-20 minutes and the egg rolls were still under cooked. I shared this story with my neighbor and they had the same issue with the egg rolls. My rating for the restaurant, I felt the restaurant charges the correct price for their pho n food items. The pho broth was good, the amount of noodle n meat items was correct for their price because people have to remember inflation on food. Their homemade chilly was to die for, I love it because it was spicy n so yummy it was good with my pho. The grill pork and cold banhmi sandwiches were yummy. Beef laab was good, too. For a local restaurant in Columbia heights, I was impressed with their food, especially I'm asian so if the food doesn't taste good, we're pretty honest. The food taste really close to home cook food. I'm very happy to try their food and celebrate my daughter birthday last min. The owner's was kind n super friendly and made me felt good because my baby had autism and he was having an episode but the owner was kind and made sure if I needed anything, because had to leave, my baby couldn't stay long at the restaurant. I am definitely coming back because I definitely want to try their other food, some that caught my attention was their dry pho, pho Gia, n waygu pho.

It’s been a long time since I had pho. But I had a craving today so I went in search of a good place to order take out. I read before that most Vietnamese cuisine is gluten free so I wasn’t too worried about finding some that would be safe for me to eat (since I am celiac). But I was surprised how many places I called that told me theirs had gluten in it or, that most unforgivable answer for a knowledgeable restaurant, “I don’t know.” I also didn’t feel like driving all the way down to Quangs (the one restaurant that actually had gluten free reviews). So I was delighted to find Phoever! Relatively new to the neighborhood, they had a well marked menu and the staff was well informed and very helpful. And the food was exceptional!! We ordered two kinds of pho, one with beef and meatballs and one with chicken, as well as the spring rolls. The spring rolls were crisp and fresh, the beef pho was rich and very flavorful, and the chicken pho was outstanding! We loved it all! Definitely a place we would recommend to others and one we will add to our normal rotation!

PHOEVER is the restaurant that have many authentic Vietnamese’s dishes. Bun Bo Hue: pork meat, thicken blood (I know it sounds weird, but its really tasty) Shaken mango: I’m ecstatic when seeing this on the menu, cause this reminds me of my childhood, the sauce of the dish is very tasty. Papaya Salad: very big portion, the sauce is thick and flavorful, and have little crab to contribute to its flavor. Fried chicken: very crunchy, and have some chillies to heighten the flavor. Spring roll: fresh vegetable, and the peanut dipping sauce is awesome. PHOEVER have a wide range of dessert. I also heard that there will be more authentic dishes to be added in the menu so come and try them out~ Review credit to Jonathan Do Le for Vietnamese translation.

This place was amazing. The food was delicious and the service was excellent. My only regret is that I wasn't more hungry so that I could've ordered some of everything. I couldn't resist eating the egg rolls before I got to take a picture. I ordered the P3 pho, a coconut smoothie with jellies, a limeade, and egg rolls. The broth on the pho was so good. A lot of places have sweet tasting broth but this place was nice and meaty. I would definitely recommend and will most definitely be eating here again very soon.
