Jake's — Restaurant in Columbia Township

I don't know what a bar experience is supposed to be, but Google Maps suggested I leave a review so here are all of thoughts. Take it with a grain of salt and you decide if its a good place to lay back.

Overall, it was a good experience. I was stuck on the side of the road and went to the only place still open, Jake's Bar and Grill. I don't smoke nor do I drink, both of which were allowed, welcomed and encouraged. The people were very friendly even if I was not quite sure what to with myself. It was interesting to be told I (21 M) was cute by a 50-year-old woman, but she was very friendly and talkative. I didn't get a chance to try the food. They'd already shut down the kitchen for the night I guess (I got there around 10:15pm), but everything sounded good and was cheap.

I didn't enjoy inhaling second hand smoke and after an hour and a half of waiting for roadside assistance I had a coughing fit later.

Karaoke was cool. The patrons were energetic and decent singers.

The pool tables required quarters to be played. I don't know if that's normal as I rarely frequent bars and never that have had pool tables.

Staff seemed a bit overwhelmed and I was not demanding attention ordering drinks. I sat at this high top island they had and it took maybe 10-15 minutes for anyone to come ask me if I needed anything.

From what I could tell, not being from the area, it looks like a frequent gathering place for locals and the local motorcycle club. There were two or three bikes outside and several...

Great place to enjoy drinking and eating lunch or dinner good food and friendly people that work there and fun place to relax and enjoy the crowd every evening and night time best bar to hang out at after work and on the weekends I enjoy going there every time I want to have a drink or just eat some food any time I am close by Great service and environment different people from different backgrounds and drama free for the most part not to many fights happens rarely depending on situations like drunk beyond the point of being a nuisance or people that start problems and stuff that makes a problem to be fighting with being a little to drunk or something else that makes people fight for a situation that makes some issues like that I would always recommend going to Jake's as much as possible no matter what happens time to time and see different things happen or a fight every now and then is fun to watch happen during the different nights depending on how late you are there on the weekends it might be a few fights out of the parking lot never in the bar but would go for sure I always have a good time there and be comfortable with out feeling out of place like other bars I felt like I was out of place but never been that way...

i walked in to the crazyist place ever i hear some guy say he didnt like to tacos and two min later the bar owner is in a big fight with him be cuase he dosent care for the tacos the bar owner is drunk as hell as is his girl from wiskey shots and very upset because in his opinoin 78 cent tacos r so cheap that if u dislike them it warrents a 30 min bitching out the drunks continue to harass the customers that r buying beer there while playing poker leading up to the owner yelling that he will no longer allow poker at his joint as if he is doing these people a service by allowing them to come spend money at his hole in the wall lucky for them they r out of town and u can smoke just dont get caught curseing or breaking one of there crazy rules you know unless your in the upper click of the bar...
