This Taco Bell is THE WORST Taco Bell in Columbia. To start, going through the drive thru takes 30+ minutes if you're not the only customer there. Otherwise it takes at least 10 minutes. For taking so long to get the food you ordered, you'd think you would get what you ordered; but you don't. There's always something missing and since it took 30 minutes to get it, going back in or through the drive thru would take way too long and the food you already have will be no good by the time you get the missing part of your order. So basically they are robbing you, not only of your money but also of your time. The food isn't exactly cheap and I know my time isn't free enough to have to wait 30 minutes in a drive thru for low quality food. I can go to a steak house and order and have my food in less than 30 minutes for about the same price.
Also, the last time I ate food from this specific Taco Bell I was sick to my stomach all day the next day. I got my food late, around 12 midnight, so I assume there was a lot of bacteria lurking around by the end of the night (and no, I wasn't drinking any alcohol, it was definitely the food that made me sick).
The employees aren't the best, but they're not the worst. Half of them are good and friendly and the other half seem to hate their jobs.
I haven't eaten at any Taco Bell for months, since I got sick to my stomach from this location. I'm totally put off by the food now. However, tonight I downloaded the app so my boyfriend could get food and not have to sit in the drive thru for 30 minutes. Well, the app failed. I placed the order around 6:15 p.m. to pick up in store for a 'pick up now' time. After 30 minutes I look at the order tracker and all it says is the order was received. My boyfriend leaves to go get it and ends up coming home empty handed. So I cancel the order. I got a text confirming my order was cancelled. Shortly thereafter, I get a text telling me my order would be ready in 5-7 minutes. So I go to pick it up. I sit there for at least another 15 minutes and the order tracker is telling me the food is being prepared. So I decide to call to figure out what's going on and I'm told I need to check in on the app. Then the woman that answered the phone starts telling another employee they couldn't be on their phone in the drive thru. I thought she was talking to me! So I continue to try to tell her there isn't a check in button on the app and she interrupts me and puts me on hold, I'm assuming to tell the other employee about their phone again. (I wonder why the drive thru is so slow?????) I finally give up and go back home. I'm beyond frustrated with this Taco Bell and I highly recommend no one go to this place, it's just...
Read moreToday was a stormy day and I wanted to get something nearby after a long practice. The lady taking my order couldn’t hear me as there was loud rain and thunder. As we approached the window, I told her that my order was wrong and she said she was able to give a refund and re-take my order. She called over for assistance as she had to give a refund, and the manager or employee with the bright lime green hair has a huge attitude and is screaming about the refund. As the lady at the window says it was hard to hear, he proceeds to talk loud and screaming so we could hear him “well that’s their fault and I am not refunding this order!!” , again with a rude tone of voice to me and to his employee. Later they give me a refund but it isn’t the full amount that I payed, and with all the disrespect, I left. This is not the first time he has approached me and my family members with disrespect and it’s utterly ridiculous as I just want a burrito. I’m also aware that I am not the only one in the area that feels this way, and as I share my experience about “the guy with the bright colorful hair” everyone agrees with me. (Family, friends, and peers, not to mention people I know that work in the facility.) I have heard of everyone going to a different location just to avoid his presence and I know that may slow down the business, so I am being brave and writing a review. The lady in the window is nice but something has to get done about that...
Read moreI had a nightmare experience last week. I waited 40 minutes in the drive-through, double checked based on the texts I sent to my wife. I would pay somebody big dollars to avoid being stuck in a line for 40 minutes.
There were only 5 cars in front of me.
The person on the drive-through headset sounded like it was his first time to run drive-through in his life. He didn't know how to ask which item I was ordering, and acted like he'd never heard of a couple of the items.
After waiting about 20 minutes, the car in front of me (who had already ordered) skipped the line and went elsewhere.
When I got to the drive-through, the attendant requested the amount of the previous driver. Then when I told him the car in front of me left, he let out a loud f-bomb.
There were no apologies for the 40 minute wait, or polite language surrounding the transaction. I resolved that the employee's days were probably bad enough, it seems like a classic mismanagement situation rather than an employee problem, and the employees do not have enough trust or authority to try to resolve these nightmare situations.
At least the food was fresh, but if I wanted to wait 40 minutes for food I wouldn't have gone to a...
