American Deli — Restaurant in Columbia

I don't know why I even bother to order from these restaurants in Columbia as it's always a negative experience.🤦🏼 I place a order thru Door Dash for a 15pc lemon pepper wings and a small french fries. The delivery was quick. Opened up the containers (2) and to my surprise the wings were very tiny. Plus they looked over cooked. I chucked it off and started plating the food to share with my friend. In doing so I noticed I was shorted 4 wings. Now to some people that's not a problem but for me, one with a strict budget, it was. So I called the store. I ask specifically how are the wings counted as they're served in separates (meaning drums and flat). She said it's counted as a whole wing just chopped in half. I said ok I wanted to clear that up before I make my complaint. I told her that I was shorted 4 wings (8 separates). She placed me on hold, a man gets on the phone and tells me to call Door Dash and get a refund that he's too busy to listen to me. So that's exactly what I did. I explained the entire situation to a DD agent and stressed it was not a complaint about the Dasher it was a complaint about the merchant. DD agent apologized and issued me a refund after I expressed that I wanted the Dasher to be able to keep his tip I gave in the app plus I tipped him when he delivered my food. Now I have to wait 3 days for a refund and I don't even want to eat the food now.🙄 People PLEASE start holding these merchants accountable! I work too hard for my few pennies to be taken for a fool. Ordered through Uber eats, they failed to send all my food. I called and the young lady ask if I could come pick it up , this defeats the purpose of Uber eats. She then says let me check with the manager so you don’t have to reorder. Of course I’m not reordering I already paid you . She then places me on hold and accidentally returns because she thought I was another customer. Then without saying anything went back on hold and never returned. I have visited this location many times and left pleased. Today was different. I noticed a few uniformed military customers. Out of curiosity I asked the clerk does their location offer military discounts. She said very rudely "No we don't have military or any other discounts " and why do you military people think someone has to give you anything". She continued to loudly state to the next customers about how she felt about veterans and that it was their choice to enlist. As a 100% totally disabled Desert Storm veteran I took personal offence.
