I don't know why I even bother to order from these restaurants in Columbia as it's always a negative experience.🤦🏼 I place a order thru Door Dash for a 15pc lemon pepper wings and a small french fries. The delivery was quick. Opened up the containers (2) and to my surprise the wings were very tiny. Plus they looked over cooked. I chucked it off and started plating the food to share with my friend. In doing so I noticed I was shorted 4 wings. Now to some people that's not a problem but for me, one with a strict budget, it was. So I called the store. I ask specifically how are the wings counted as they're served in separates (meaning drums and flat). She said it's counted as a whole wing just chopped in half. I said ok I wanted to clear that up before I make my complaint. I told her that I was shorted 4 wings (8 separates). She placed me on hold, a man gets on the phone and tells me to call Door Dash and get a refund that he's too busy to listen to me. So that's exactly what I did. I explained the entire situation to a DD agent and stressed it was not a complaint about the Dasher it was a complaint about the merchant. DD agent apologized and issued me a refund after I expressed that I wanted the Dasher to be able to keep his tip I gave in the app plus I tipped him when he delivered my food. Now I have to wait 3 days for a refund and I don't even want to eat the food now.🙄 People PLEASE start holding these merchants accountable! I work too hard for my few pennies to be taken for a fool. Out of curiosity I asked the clerk does their location offer military discounts. She said very rudely "No we don't have military or any other discounts " and why do you military people think someone has to give you anything".
