I personally love KFC. It is delicious. I love the menu. But... I did have a problem with one of the employees that I met today at the KFC on Decker Blvd Columbia, SC 29223 just a few minutes before 5pm. She should have not came after me because someone forgotten to put an item that I purchased. I get there was a situation happening outside where someone was getting arrested and if she had to deal with that guy. I get it, I'm sorry that happened to you but you don't need to take your frustrations out on a customer. She should have stepped away, taken a breather, and came back to work.
Once I realized the item was missing, I looped around and went back through the drive-thru. Waited my turn and when I got up to the speaker I informed them that they forgot an item and I have a receipt. The lady on the intercom told me to drive up to the window. I politely told her "ok, thank you." When it was my turn at the window I told another lady what was the issue. She rudely told me that I needed to get out of line and go park and go inside to get the missing item. She would not just give me my missing item. When she told me that I was holding up the line and that she wouldn't not help me. I told her she did not have to be rude about it. She snapped back at me and said she wasn't and continued to be rude to me because I was holding up the line. I asked for her name and she shut the window in my face and ignored me. Apparently this employee was more worried about the line behind me then the customer that already paid. Shortly after she shut the window a gentleman stepped up (if I'm not mistaken his name is Vincent) wearing a black shirt that look like a manager. He opened the window and helped me. He asked what the issue was, and he quickly solved it. As he went to go get the missing item. The lady that was very rude to me yelled at him saying there is a line Vincent. Obviously he did not care what she was saying. He definitely made me feel like the customer was important. He wasn't worried about the line. He was more worried about the customer. His customer service was ON POINT! Thank you SO SO much Vincent!! He went over and beyond for the customer. As for that lady, she needs a attitude check. I wish she would talk and treat the person that owns this KFC like how she did me because I believe the owners should be aware of how their employees treat...

This location definitely need to get new drive through workers because it’s like they aren’t actively listening to what is being ordered. It’s FRUSTRATING. They always have this one worker Kayla at the window and she gets my order wrong ALL the time it’s not ONCE that my food has been passed through the window correctly! And then they get upset when you tell them to refund your money because you no longer want the meal! One time I order Two wings and a breast crispy. Please tell me Why they passed through the window a leg and two thighs. I mean order completely f’d up! The only person who gets my order correct is the older lady! God bless her! Read moreI went to this location on yesterday and got a $5 fill up box and the mashed potatoes were so loose that they were more gravy and mashed potatoes. KFC is outrageous with their prices not matching quality. I prefer Publix chicken where an 8-piece mix is 7.99, and if you do a meal deal is $11.99 they're $20 deal is high priced. Also when I had a problem at this location I reached out to the company and receive the phone call and a message for number to call them back at when I called back and left a message I never was contacted again. I had problems at Publix one time last summer with an order and they didn't even ask for the chicken back they just said bring the receipt and they would refund me now that is customer service, great quality. Even though I had that one problem I can even call them and tell them I'm coming their way and they will set aside the fresh chicken out of the Grease and it will be ready when I get there....
