Peking Wok 3 — Restaurant in Columbia

This used to be our absolute go to spot literally. We visited this location often, if not weekly to the point where we could text in our orders to the owners. Felt comfortable enough to send holiday text messages and etc. Tonight absolutely was an experience that was beyond disappointing. Per usual, we placed our order liked we always did. I called to confirm that it was received like normal and stated that my mom would be picking it up. My mom got there the line was to the door. others were also complaining by the lack of communication and business that was provided tonight. My mom stood in line and watched several people get their food before her. One gentleman in particular placed his food at the window, and got his order before we did. A lady that was standing in line, stepped out of line, called the restaurant, placed her order, walked up to the window (cut in front of everyone) and said, so your telling me it’s going to be 10 minutes. Because she very much knew, it was not going to be ten minutes for her food to be done. We waited almost 45 minutes if not longer to get our food, just for some of it to be wrong. :( I’m very disappointed as this isn’t how the level of care or business has ever been in the past or how we’ve ever been treated. Prior to this, our food was over cooked, but we still returned. Hey guys I see alot of reviews have been good and that made me want to order from here. I made my rating and here is why, the lady in today when I arrived at 2:40pm Thursday sep 26th 2024 peking wok 3 the lady gave me an unpleasant look.

I wait to receive my order and then when I retained it I looked for myself to take pictures for the $3 doordash give back for posting an image with review then she started acting suspicious to why I was taking images.

I traveled from Charleston to get the order before work because I'm really hungry and I ordered it for my co worker and I.

The wings are not fresh and the rice taste like she used grease that was old those who know know that taste I'm talking about.

I didn't like the experience or food neither did my co worker and I will not come back.

I arrived at the location to pick up an order the line was at the door. She was taking call in orders while the line was long as everyone began to get inpatient. I watched her dump food out of the incorrect container back onto the grill. A lady got out of line and called her order in and the owner had the nerve to answer and take her order while we were still in line. Many of us started to call in and thats when she went to the back to help cook. It is a totally different story to let customers know the wait is more than 5-10 and them having you wait almost 20 mins for an order. We have ordered from them many times before and this order was wrong she tried saying it wasn’t then she had to check again when she should’ve checked when I said something....
