Visited Decker Village Shopping Center recently and would rate my experience as solidly average—about 3 stars. What Worked Well • The center is anchored by a Food Lion that seems to draw a lot of visitors, and there’s no shortage of parking, which made getting in and out pretty easy. • Access is convenient, right off I-77 and I-20, so you don’t have to wind through back roads to get there. • There’s a decent mix of tenants, including national chains like Dollar General, Domino’s Pizza, and KFC, as well as a local Korean restaurant. • The area is handicap accessible and well-trafficked, so it never felt deserted or unsafe. What Could Be Improved • The overall atmosphere felt a bit tired and utilitarian. While the essentials are covered, there’s nothing particularly inviting or unique about the shopping center—it’s more functional than fun. • The tenant mix leans heavily toward necessity shopping and fast food. If you’re looking for boutique stores or a more upscale experience, this isn’t the place. • While there’s plenty of parking, the layout is pretty basic and not especially pedestrian-friendly. It’s the kind of place where you’ll probably end up driving from one end to the other if you have multiple errands. • The center could use a bit of sprucing up—some of the storefronts and common areas look dated compared to newer shopping centers in the area. Bottom Line Decker Village Shopping Center is convenient and practical for everyday errands, especially if you need to hit the grocery store or grab a quick bite. The Mobile Pet Med is a great service to The South Carolina Community. The Doctors and their team members travel throughout The State. They sacrificing their time to prevent outbreaks of rabies throughout South Carolina. They are located in Greenville-Spartanburg County, South Carolina. I've been using them for many years for my dogs vaccines and their heartworm prevention medications. Never have I seen what happened today. On this Saturday August 22, 2020. Dr. Douglas Smith and his team showed great customer service and people management skills. Dr Smith diffused a volatile situation. A woman did not have her dog under her control. The woman could not handle her very big dog. The dog appeared to have a very bad case of the Mange. The mange is very contagious to pets and humans. The woman had trouble keeping social distance, between the other owners and their dogs. She showed a lack of respect, when a customer asked her to back up from her and her dog.

That was when the women who could not control her dog became very rude towards the lady. The woman with the mangey looking dog became confrontational, outrate, angry and very loud, even threatening the other lady. All the while the lady and her dog at the van remained calm.

I applaud the way Doctor Douglas Smith and his team handled that situation. There are pictures posted along with this comment. The lady at the van was calm throughout the verbal assault, from that other woman.

Went to the Walgreens Pharmacy there for a COVID-19 vaccination. The staff were friendly and helpful, but it was clear that they were overworked and not properly staffed to do both vaccinations and the normal volume of pharmacy work (which is evidently very busy). In addition, the pharmacy computer system was dragging along at glacial speed. To be fair, we were in and out in just over an hour, so it was not all that bad. One word of caution: I do not know that I would want to be in that area after dark. There were two abandoned cars in parking spaces within 100 feet of the front door of the pharmacy (tires flat, body damage) that have obviously been sitting there for some time.
