Bang Back Pinball Lounge — Restaurant in Columbia

This place is really cool! I’m obsessed with pinball so I had to check this place out. They have at least 10 different pinball machines (possibly more but I remember at least 10), a bar with beer and liquor, and a “food truck” to grab a bite to eat. The space is pretty big and is spaced out well so you don’t feel claustrophobic. The parking is on the street with meters so be sure to either bring change or download the app on your phone. There is seating at the bar, outside, and I saw some booths as well (probably for when they have special events). They have an ATM and a change machine so you can take money out then convert to quarters to play. Beer was pretty cheap considering it’s in the Five Points area. We went today so it wasn’t really busy which was nice for us. I feel bad because I only saw one employee so he was running around a lot to take care of customers. I haven’t been this impressed with an owner in a long time. I’m a gluten free, dairy free, vegetarian. This makes going out difficult. Well let me share with you that Frederick was soooo helpful even delighted to help me create an amazing order. We built jackfruit tacos. JACKFRUIT! It’s a meat substitute but rarely available in restaurants. Those tacos were amazing. Frederick is very kind and funny. I had a wonderful experience thanks to him. Plus he’s a pinball wizard from 1990. Note his trophy in the pic. If you have any dietary restrictions, vegan, gluten free, vegetarian, dairy free, I bet they’d even do sugar free if you need, I highly recommend Bang Back as your go to place.
