Bark Social — Restaurant in Columbia

Came for food and dogs and was not disappointed. Customer service was great - got a cup of ice and when I noticed the water indoors had the fruit for flavoring they gave me a cup for regular water. Caesar dressing was very good with fresh romaine lettuce, maybe Wishbone dressing? They’re still testing those restaurant buzzers, but others use the traditional table numbers. Employees picked up after dogs playing in the yard without delay.

I will say there was a weird incident where I watched a dog eat a napkin in front of an employee. Wasn’t sure if it was bread but I think it was a napkin because only once the dog at 4/5 of the napkin did the man pick up the left over. I get there’s no urgency with paper as it is dissolvable and harmless, just felt a little weird that they didn’t show concern. The dog owners trust the employees here to treat their dog like they would. And I’m not so sure I’d let my dog eat a napkin, that other dogs were...

The bark rangers are great with my dog! They know her by name and always pay genuine attention and affection to her, as well as all the “club members”.

The place is clean, though some lounge chairs still smell really bad.

However, I’m mostly disappointed in the coffee offerings, especially the latte. I’ve ordered several times before writing this review. First, it’s expensive for 12 oz. But it’s so pale and tastes like there isn’t any espresso in there. The explanation that was given was that there’s only 1 shot in there, but that’s what most places do and theirs taste so much bolder, better. The question here is what is wrong with that single shot of espresso here?! Questionable quality and quantity.

I take my dog here several times a week and it’s frustrating not to be able to bring something good from outside in but the latter here is so bad. Even the one in North Bethesda is better. I hope you...

Bark Social is an amazing spot for dogs to socialize and have a great time! The space is well-designed for dogs to run, play, and make new friends, making it a fantastic choice for pet owners who want their pups to enjoy some off-leash fun. The dog-friendly environment and relaxed vibe create a fun atmosphere for both pets and their humans.

However, the check-in process could be streamlined a bit. It can be a bit slow, especially during peak times, which can be a bit frustrating. Additionally, while the staff is friendly and clearly cares about the dogs, they could benefit from additional training.
