"Boot Stompin" can be miss read as a nightclub, there is no nightclub club in this building...but what this "Boot Stompin" is referring to (in my opinion)so country and so yummy that you actually stomp your boots with every bite. I feel inside like an 11 year old little girl who just recieved her first real pair of boots. Inside of me I get so happy that I litterally want to be jumping up and down in one place impatiently while I am chewing waiting for my next bite. It is Southern cooking that you actually FEEL like you just walked up to a Southern gathering jam packed with smiles and friendly faces and closest family members. When you first walk in Ms. April greets you with a big smile. Mr. Bobby will most likely not beable to see you until you are right at the counter, but he spins around with a big smile and welcomes you(back). Whether you are looking for a place for date night, or a whole shindig with all your family including rowdy children...THIS is the place you want to be. Everytime we are anywhere down town, I'd say with in 10 blocks of the CAB my children start asking, then chanting "Boot Stompin" we try to get there 3 times a month. Things that I have done there personally include: ordering seconds to share, danced with my husband, brought a huge party of 11, enjoyed their special event of "upcoming artists", eaten outside on the patio, made new friends, talked to strangers, and even had my kids playing with other kids visiting there...I have even hugged Ms.April! They are absolutely wonderful people. My children love to sit with thier son, while my husband and I are at another table enjoying ourselves knowing we will all be safe and taken care of. We have even been known to hang around until the rush is over to sneak in a short break with Mr.Bobby by the smoker. Bobby is very smart, it seems like he has a solution to all of your ordering needs. During lunch hour the parking can be pretty tight, he has opened thier phone lines to reordering. Nothing is to much for him to handle. Call in am order for the whole company...he's got it. Need a caterer? He is up for it. Although I have yet to organize that large of a party or gathering, I have seen both Bobby and April get ready for a catering job. We have many conversations while at the restaurant...so far I have heard them say 230 head count for catering!!! Y'all, that's almost 3x my wedding size! They often rotate in new items to try, however...the everyday menu is extremely easy to read and hard to decide. When I can not choose we always end up getting a nacho where you can add most of the sides on the nacho. When I say these nachos are huge, I can share 1 portion with my 2 children. My favorite item is the pork tacos with both kinds of cheese dipped in sour cream!!! When I have visitors stay with me, we always go to Boot Stompin as a MUST to visit in middle Tennessee. A simple Mom and Pop restaurant that will steal your heart and leave a little piece of it here in town! You will not be disappointed!!!

If you’re searching for the best BBQ in Tennessee, look no further than Boot Stompin’ BBQ in Columbia. This hidden gem serves up authentic, slow-smoked barbecue with bold flavors, generous portions, and that unmistakable Southern hospitality. Whether you’re a brisket lover, a pulled pork fanatic, or someone who craves perfectly smoked ribs, this is the spot that will keep you coming back for more. Boot Stompin’ BBQ takes barbecue to the next level with meats that are smoked to perfection. Their sliced brisket is unbelievably tender, packed with deep, smoky flavor, and practically melts in your mouth. The pulled pork is juicy and full of rich, slow-cooked goodness, and the ribs? Fall-off-the-bone perfection. Their house-made BBQ sauce ties everything together with the perfect balance of tangy, smoky, and sweet flavors. One of their standout dishes is their barbecue tacos, which bring together perfectly smoked meats, creamy corn, tangy pickled jalapeños, and a drizzle of sauce, all wrapped in a soft flour tortilla. It’s an explosion of flavor that you won’t find anywhere else. One thing that sets Boot Stompin’ BBQ apart from other Tennessee BBQ joints is their generous portion sizes at great prices. You’ll leave feeling satisfied, with plenty of leftovers to enjoy later. Customers rave about the quality-to-price ratio, saying that you get top-tier barbecue without breaking the bank. Beyond the food, Boot Stompin’ BBQ delivers a classic Southern barbecue experience. The rustic decor, friendly service, and welcoming atmosphere make it the perfect place to kick back and enjoy a hearty meal. People! My wife and I love traveling the Southeast and hunting down the best BBQ we can find. We’ve tasted our way from Kansas City to Memphis, Nashville, and all across the Carolinas. So believe me when I say: Boot Stomping BBQ in Columbia, TN absolutely blew us away today. As always, I went for the BBQ sampler to get a little bit of everything. Every bite — every meat and every side — was exceptional. But the brisket? Hands down, the best I’ve ever had. And yes, that includes spots in Texas known for their legendary brisket. This place is family-owned, fueled by love, faith in Jesus, and a genuine passion for serving incredible food. If you aren’t lucky enough to live in Columbia, make it a field trip. This BBQ is worth the drive!
