Last weekend we went to Brickhouse BBQ for our first (and last time). It took a very very long time to get our food, but this is understandable as most businesses are short staffed right now. We were patient with this piece. When we got home, we realized our order was wrong, and we had to go back to the restaurant to get our order corrected. Upon going back, the patience that we had shown the business in the first place was definitely not reciprocated to us as the paying CUSTOMER. First, I was greeted by a polite young employee that said she would get it taken care of right away. Ok, great!! (I thought).....Until out comes another employee that wanted to question me about the food and insisted that I repay for the food and sauces that I NEVER received in the first place. She was extremely extremely rude, treating me like I was inconvenienceing HER. At that point, I was so frustrated I just paid to get the food that we should have gotten in the first place. When we got home the food that we received was absolutely disgusting. I am including a picture of the inedible mess of slop, and I am also including a picture from an experience that I had a couple of years ago with Martins BBQ in Spring Hill that had gotten our order incorrect. They actually value their customers as can be seen how they handled it in the picture below versus the unacceptable way Brickhouse handled this. I know which business I will absolutely NOT be returning to!!!

We went in mainly for ribs. There is room for improvement in certain areas. Customer service was decent. Free refills on drinks if dining in, but depending on your drink, you do have to walk up each time and wait for them to refill it. The ribs was very tough and lacked seasoning. The mac and cheese is BOXED mac n cheese, not the homemade kind. In MOST BBQ places, the Mac N Cheese and baked beans compliment the BBQ, but not here. I was disappointed. We spent alot of money and was HIGHLY disappointed. Room for improvement for sure. Inside was clean which def is a PLUS! BBQ sauce was good. Ribs should be tender and juicy and full of flavor. The sides should have been homemade, not boxed.

First time eating here while in town for work. Great lunch. We loved the rib platter, the ribs were tender and the meat fell right off those bones. Great bbq sauce. I honestly thought that was the BEST broccoli salad I've ever had. The pickle fries were yummy, but need a ranch dipper. The loaded baked potato salad was really good too. The gal behind the counter was quickly moving everyone through the line. Overall great lunch. Lots of traffic rolling through their drive thru, so you can see it's a local favorite.

This is the worst place I have ever been. The customer service is the worst I have experienced. Last week when I was there picking up an order for our employees, the lady who calls herself a manager was yelling and talking down to an older lady employee who was obviously training. I asked another employee if that was the manager that was yelling and talking down to that employee so the whole restaurant could hear, she said yes. I asked her to go to the back and please let that manager know she is being very disrespectful and tacky the way she is speaking to her employee for the whole place to hear.... so she goes back to tell the manager, the manager and I make eye contact, I get my order, and walk out.

I go back today to pick up food for my job, the same manager lady sees me, and automatically puts out bad energy toward me, and has an attitude from the beginning. I wanted a turkey sandwich for $2.49 because their sign says that is "todays special". So when I placed my order, 5 Brisket Potatoes, and one Turkey Sandwich for $2.49, she says "I'm sorry, that is last weeks special" I told her according to your sign, that is the special for today, and that is what I would like. She said "again, that is last weeks special" I said well im sorry, I want one Turkey Sandwich for $2.49, and asked her to come out and look at "her" sign. She said I already told you that was from last week, then she comes around and rips the sticker off for "turkey" and comes back to the register and said " I will go ahead and give it to you and "save yourself $1.00" (like she was doing me a favor). She was so disrespectful to me, I cannot wait to find out who the owner is of this establishment. She says she has been so busy she did not have time to change the sign. NOT MY PROBLEM!!!!

My company orders from this place ALL the time, but I promise you, they will not get any more money from us............... we will gladly drive a little further and go Nolens where the customer service is always GREAT!!

Never again will I ever step foot back in this place nor go thru their drive thru.....

Seeking the owner of this...

We have bought the 2 or 3 lb meals several times. We bought 15lbs for a baby shower just a year ago. I went in tonight to place a order for our daughters first birthday and pick up dinner for the family. The dining room is still closed so I called to let them know I was outside. I went in spoke with the manager and asked I have 40-50 people coming how much bbq does she think I need. She had attitude from this point telling me it doesn’t matter that until I tell her what I want. So I politely tell her pork, buns and baked beans and Mac and cheese and bbq sauce. Basically a tray of each. My wife thought we needed 10lbs I was thinking closer to 12-15 as I smoke quite often. Your average foil trays are roughly 10qts. So before she tells me what she thinks she rings up a total. Basically $450 dollars. I then ask her how much of each. I’m reading the price on the wall 5lbs of bbq, buns and 4qts of sides for $100. I ask her do I need this much how much bbq is this for. She tells me 16lbs. I still don’t know how many are the trays were but I can buy 3 of their packs for $300. Which is what I was expecting to pay. I was in shock. Her attitude is miserable at this point and she tells me “I’ve only been doing this for 15 years and your questioning me.” No ma’am I’m questioning what I am getting for $450 that you are still refusing to tell me. At this point I just told her I would buy from somewhere else. The attitude this lady had with someone walking in willing to spend $300-400 dollars on tonight’s dinner and food for a party next weekend that I was picking up was just absurd. I apologize I asked to come inside and see your dirty laundry all over the tables. But I wasn’t going to trust a 16 year old kid in the drive through on a purchase this large and I wanted your professional opinion but instead I was basically told to pay this and go on. We will never return because of this attitude which my wife is upset with because it was her favorite local bbq. I hope whoever reads this saves themself the trouble and goes somewhere else. The math just...

I have been here a few times over the years I have lived in Columbia because the banana pudding is so good… However…. The service I experienced today was probably the worst service I’ve ever gotten here. I probably haven’t eaten there in over a year, so I didn’t realize they had a speaker now, instead of just pulling up to order your food. I sat by the window for a good 5-10 minutes before I saw the tiny little words across the window that said use the drive-thru (and in that 5-10 minutes, they saw me by the window but didn’t say a word to me… and there was no one else there) … so I pull around to order. I start ordering my food and before finishing my 1st sentence, the lady interrupted me and says “We don’t have Turkey. We haven’t had it over 6 months.” I was like I am sorry I was looking at your online menu.. let’s not forget to mention the HUGE blue sign outside that said Turkey was an option. Anywho… so I said ok and completed my order. I forgot to mention I didn’t want something on the sandwich and when I got to the window waited 5-10 more minutes and I am trying to get their attention so I can let them know to make the changes to my order. The lady who took my payment looked super confused so she went to grab the super rude lady with the headset, and I explained that I had forgotten to tell them something and she was like, “Ugh….. um, SURE.. sure we can do that” in a very sarcastic tone. I said I was sorry, and waited a good 5-10 more minutes for the food. They handed me the bag and didn’t say anything. I ordered a good amount of food, so I asked if everything was in the one bag,… and I just got a very confused look. I just said, I was just making sure it was all in this bag. He said, “Yeah?” Like he didn’t know or wasn’t for sure. I pulled off thinking…. This is why I don’t ever come here. I forget how unbelievably rude they are. This will be the only review I have ever written because I am usually not a Karen about complaining. I just couldn’t not do it this time. Sorry Karen… lol or whatever your name is with the...
