After working at this establishment for a good 9 months, I can tell you this is probably one of the worst places to get hired.
First off, all the equipment either never worked or was barely functional. I can recall for 2 months our ice cream machine broke down hourly. The shake machine was no exception either. Our PHU units were hand-me-downs from other restaurants who got upgrades in their kitchens. Every Burger King around us has had an upgrade to their kitchen, equipment and dining room. Meanwhile more money went towards the dining room and office area, rather than the kitchen where everyone's food comes from. Our broiler, which cooks all the meat, broke down and caused us to shut down the restaurant for the day. The freezers are old, and the wires are fraying leaving us susceptible to being shocked while working around them.
Which brings me to my next point, the food. Food was terrible. Both to cook and to serve. Multiple times I can recall, anything that was turning old and we needed to serve, we threw them back into the fryer to refresh them so the seemed "fresh". Most meat was barely serveable to not serveable at all. But we still served it anyways. The only fresh thing i can guarantee you'll get is the fries, since we cook those every 15-20 minutes.
Lastly management. It was a very buddy buddy system their. If you didn't kiss ass you were gonna get fired eventually. Some managers did little too nothing to help around the kitchen. Some were very helpful and nice to be around. Some good managers got fired cause of drama, other managers left cause the place is just terrible. Most of the workers were good at the job. Some make me wonder how they even got hired.
Overall, Management was sub-par. Same for the workers. Food was barely acceptable and labor was dangerous to...
Read moreI understand there was a long wait in the drive thru and they were busy and possibly short handed. I am a very patient person. However I was unaware, the workers were more interested in cleaning an hour ahead of time and not taking care of the customers. Which I learned when I got to the window. When I finally get to the window and paid for my food, I had to wait again. I watch the workers busy with cleaning while the orders were piling up behind me. When a new car came to the speaker, they were inside shaking their heads no and continue cleaning. When the worker was finished with cleaning the ice cream machine, he walks over and grabs my sandwiches. As he is trying to throw the bag to me, I tell him forget it, I want my money back. I don't trust them after seeing how they were treating the customers. It doesn't take 45 minutes to make a couple of sandwiches. They should close early if they don't want to serve their customers. This is a result of bad management. They should train their employees on customer service. The way they treat their customers is...
Read moreWell on Monday, January 31 around 6:20pm me and my mother went to pick up a DoorDash and waited for 35 minutes in the line. Get to the window they try and charge us for the DoorDash then my mom says “no ma’am we are picking up the DoorDash” and the lady says “WELL YOU DONT HAVE TO BE RUDE ABOUT IT!” And closes the window like she is mad. Btw didn’t even apologize for the wait. She points at us and talks about us in the store WHERE WE CAN SEE AND HEAR HER and the are all laughing. She gives us the food without looking or ask if it’s right. So first time ever going to Burger King with the night shift. Don’t recommend...
