Legacy Coffee Co. — Restaurant in Columbia

I have been a regular at this coffee shop for years, through their multiple locations. I've literally written a whole novel while hunkered down here, sipping on my iced lattes. I adore this shop. A review is well overdue.

About the drinks: They have all the classics for you coffee lovers out there, as well as some fun latte flavors to try for anyone who has a sweet tooth like me. Feel free to ask if they have any special flavors that aren't on their menu, because they often get their hands on seasonal syrups that are well worth the try.

About the customer service: The workers are kind and welcoming to all new customers, and if you're a regular, they will put in the effort to learn your name and favorite orders and enough about your life to ask after you in your next visit. Once, I had to abandon my preordered coffee because traffic was too bad and I had to get to work, and they literally called me to make sure I was okay. The owner/management cares about their workers, even once closing their shop for a Barista's wedding. Every time I come here, I get the feeling that everyone who works here are good friends.

About the food: I don't have much to say about their food, but only because I haven't tried their newer food menu yet. But I have no doubt that it's all 100% delicious.

I looooove Legacy Coffee! Love. It's a cozy, fun atmosphere with some of the nicest employees you will ever find and happens to have amazing food and beverage. I only have one coffee type beverage that I like because I'm picky, but because I'm incredibly picky, you can believe me when I say that the iced white chocolate mocha from Legacy is the best I've ever had. I did a taste test one week with Starbuck and Dunkin', and Legacy was my fave. My not-as-picky husband had tried almost everything on the menu and only ever had positive things to say about all of them. The baked items are always hit with my husband and my toddler. The sandwiches were always delish, and I simply cannot wait to try the burrito. The take-home coffee is excellent and smells like heaven--they'll grind it there for you if needed. The service is quick, friendly, and oh-so helpful if you have questions. The owner is one of the nicest business owners I've ever run into, and if you go frequently enough, they remember you! I might or might not have tested this theory by becoming a regular. Now that they have a drive thru, RIP to my wallet, but it's worth it. I give this coffee shop five star because of three things. 1. Great tasting coffee and food. The coffee itself taste great. You know that the beans are fresh because they roast their own coffee beans! They are so creative in their coffee based drinks too. It was my first time trying the Honey Lavender latte and it was so good! I had almond milk instead of the regular milk. It was great! Their lunch specials are also good. Coffee good, food good! 2. Excellent customer service. Everyone is just so kind and helpful. The atmosphere us just filled with their kindness! It was a bit busy and my husband had to wait for few minutes and the owner said his coffee is free!!! Oh if you are an essential worker, you get a discount! 3. The atmosphere and seating. Inside the coffee shop is wonderful because it’s clean and the chairs are so comfortable to sit in. The restroom is also clean!
