Church's Texas Chicken — Restaurant in Columbia

‼️NIGHTMARE LOCATION ‼️ We placed our order through the mobile app and as soon as we had came to the store location and tried to walk in, we had white lady worker who was working there yelling at us and locking the door in our face, yelling "no!" We have never been to this location or churches before but we were immediately confused to why she was refusing us entry to pick up our mobile, I then showed her my screen and said I have a mobile and she keep on yelling at us, a doing black gentleman who also worked there came outside and tried to help us but couldn't due to the same white lady yelling at him to come inside and then told us that they didn't have part of our order( they were out of chicken strips) we were willing to get something else but due to how rude and disrespectful most of the staff were to us, we asked for a refund; they then responded by yelling we can't help you. I then got frustrated and asked for the manager and they kept ignoring me and yelling at us to get out. They then told me to get a refund online before slamming the door in our face yet again. I had heard how good the food was from churches and wanted to try it out for the first time but after this incident today, I would never step foot in that establishment ever again and I would strongly urge others to avoid this place. This is the Best Church's Chicken to come to in Columbia. My friends and I often reminisce about our nights. When, We used to spend going to Church's on Forest Drive. Reliving our college lifes at Allen & Benedict College. The food was always great. Main Street do have some problems it appearance with their building and parking lot. Main Street need to be UPDATED OR IMPROVED. There is a lot of up and coming businesses to this area. And, if you want to increase customers volume. You need to be able to draw people in by their senses. The windows are always dirty and the building in the back..Look like cooking oil on it. The parking lot needs to be kept clean and there holes that would damage people cars. You also need to have security. This location deals in a lot of cash and customers are being harassed by vagrants on property asking for donation. It's not safe to pulling down your window to place an order and there is a stranger standing by your car. It's not good for your employees to work so hard and have to worry about their safety and their customer safety . The employees appears to be over worked. There are long lines here and the employees are always polite. I suggest pay increases or bonuses. A little TLC...

This particular Church’s location is one of the most disorganized fast food restaurants I’ve ever been to. I LOVE Church’s Chicken, but this location is now on my “no-go” list.

I’ve been to this location 3 times now. Here are the results:

I arrive 30 minutes before their listed closing time, they tell me that they’re already closed. I get not taking orders like 5 minutes before closing, but 30??

I actually got my food this time, but I was in the drive through for 20+ minutes. Still good food, it’s Church’s. But they’re so slow at this one.

Tonight I showed up and got in the drive thru line and there were 5 or so cars ahead of me. I figured I’d be there for a minute but I tried to stay. After 10 minutes, we had moved 1 car. I pulled out and drove away, hungry and chicken-less.

None of the workers at this location seem to want to be there or work. They will literally look outside at the line of cars in the drive through and stare without doing anything. I don’t understand.

The Two Notch Rd location is FANTASTIC and QUICK and ten times better than this one. Save yourself the trouble and don’t even try to come here. The workers don’t want...
