The good.... the food and drinks came out very quickly and tasted amazing! Prices were standard but serving sizes were above average.
The bad.... our server was verrryyy pushy. We met up with friends so our party was 8 people, including children. We sat down and the server asked what we wanted to drink. It was the first time there for most of us so I told the server we needed a minute. He came back about 3 minutes later so we ordered our drinks. A couple minutes later he asked for our food order. We hadn't even picked up our menus as we were talking and getting the kids situated. So I asked for some time to look. Literally 5 minutes later he came back wanting our order. Again, I asked for some more time. Mind you, this is a Tuesday nigh, so the restaurant was maybe 1/4 full. Our table was majority of the people there. So he comes back again 5 minutes later and we start to order. One person in the group was asking to add something to her plate and he completely ignored her and moved away and onto the next person. Then we told him she was still speaking and he kept saying he couldn't hear her. He understood English well too so that wasn't the issue. So we get our food and one of the plates wasn't exactly right but she ate it anyways. The adults were done eating but I was feeding my 1 year old rice and beans off my plate and the server comes and just starts cleaning the table and takes my plate from in front of my baby. I literally had the spoon in my hand still feeding him. So we get up to leave and pay and the girl at the counter rings up one of the tickets as $82 instead of $28. When my friend noticed, the girl apologized and says, I'll ring up a new ticket but can you sign the original too? My friend says, absolutely not, as she didn't feel comfortable signing 2 tickets, one of which was significantly wrong.
All in all, yes the food is good but it isn't worth the hassle. There are tons of Mexican restaurants so we will not ever be returning...
Read moreWe usually Spend $100 plus every time we order here. And usually we love it. And the people are always nice, except for today. It was extremely rude and disrespectful. And I watched other customers be talked to extremely rudely. (She even tried to tell one customer. Oh I didn't take her to go order and he said yes, you did. Ten minutes ago, you took my order. What do you mean? You don't remember me) but we asked for NO RICE and all 4 have rice , we asked for EXTRA BEANS and hardly any beans (but got charged for an extra side even though we didn't get any) there weren't any other pick up orders and when I came in to pick up the order that my husband called in she was Ted ever single item we ordered when I didn't know them all, (when he called it in she didn't even want to take his name OR give an order number ) . Never have we had such rude service espically spending over $100 to get treated like we should give them a tip after getting talked down to the whole time and our ordered being very wrong. I doubt we will go back for a while , unless this girl up front isn't there when we go back. From now on if she answers we still say never mind and go somewhere else to spend our money, espically that much, just to get that...
Read moreThis restaurant is reasonably priced. The staff seems to be hit or miss on service but I've only ever been to this particular restaurant three times despite the fact I've lived in this area for about 10 years. HOWEVER, the food has always been phenomenal! Great guacamole, chimichangas, salsa, rice, beans, tacos (in the opinion of my other family members; I don't eat tacos) and enchiladas. Regardless of the reliability of the service, I enjoy going to this restaurant because when I'm at a restaurant I'm there foremost for food, secondmost for service. So long as the servers are not blantantly disrespectful to me, I don't mind if they're a little slower on service.
As a side not, I do NOT like the Pancho's Place in Spring Hill. I ordered the same meal I enjoy ordering from the Columbia location and it was awful. There's no other way to describe it except that the seasoning of the meal was all wrong. Same EXACT meal, but totally different outcome... Even the beverage tasted different. I've only ever been to the Spring Hill location once and have never been back again. If I'm craving Pancho's, I go to the...
