You can be the only car in the drive thru and it will still take 15 minutes MINIMUM for your food and they will likely forget some of the food. This is a common occurrence for me. I typically don't like to post negative reviews on places like this as it's usually due to short staffing or something else not on the employees but they usually take the blame from corporate for the bad review. However, this has been a recurring problem at this location specifically. Almost every time I order here they mess up the order and take nearly 30 minutes to do it. I eventually took to the survey to express the issues I'd been having (for this visit, I ordered a Dave's double combo, a nugget combo, and 2 cookies through the drive thru and the receipt has the correct order on it, but they forgot the cheese on the burger, straws for the two drinks, and the both of the cookies), and I got an email offering to replace my entire order for free. So, I went back to have it replaced, and they forgot the sides for both meals. I get that mistakes happen, but this happens EVERY TIME. It sucks, too, because I love Wendy's food. The location back home before I moved to the area was amazing. I'm always nice to the workers yet most (not all, but most) of them are rude from the get go, before I even speak into the drive thru thing. There are a few nice people there, though. The McDonald's next door and Sonic down the street have far better staff. Every time I go, people are rude and they do something wrong with my order. They put on all the toppings even though my order says only ketchup, they forget the fries, somehow don't put cheese on the burger, or leave out items entirely. All the while this takes 30 minutes to get food when you can clearly see the employees just hanging out talking and not doing anything while you wait. I've given up on hoping I'll have a good experience at this Wendy's and will likely never go back. I hope upper management gets this location figured...
Read moreThis Wendy’s is the closest to us. During the morning service is great and rarely is my order wrong. Now going during the evening is a whole other ball game. We try not to go after lunch because the service is so hit or miss. Today was a MAJOR miss. My husband went and got me a saucy nugget combo and when he got home I noticed it was the wrong flavor. No biggie we went back out through the drive thru and told them the mess up. They asked for a receipt again no biggie we had it and the nuggets to prove there was a mix up. The lady was a bit rude but nothing crazy. We get the nuggets then head home. At home I realized they gave us the wrong size so I went back through the drive thru and told them. They said they’d give me a 4 piece saucy nugget to make up for the missing nuggets. I said that was fine. I had the nuggets with me in case they wanted proof. I pull up to the window and the lady asked me if I got my food I said no ma’am I haven’t. She goes yes you did it’s right there in the seat. I said no ma’am y’all gave me the wrong size I’m here for a remake. She got snippy with me and told me to pull up. Then a sweet employee brought out my nuggets. If you don’t know how to talk to people then you shouldn’t be in a customer facing position. This also doesn’t seem like the first time she’s been rude to customers either. Reading through a lot of these reviews she’s the problem. There’s no reason to talk to a customer that way especially if they aren’t the ones being rude to begin with. I also hope the GM reads these reviews and gets that store in order. It has the potential to be a great location with the...
Read moreSo my wife and I went to Wendy's on the way to church. They had a short line of three cars, so we figured it would be a quick visit. We timed how long we were in the drive thru, it took Wendy's a little over 30 minutes for us to get our food and we almost didn't make it to church. The cashier did not know what a coupon was, so called for her manager. Upon arriving at the window I gave the cashier a $50, she apparently has never seen one before and needed help making change. The guys in the back did not know how to make the standard menu burgers, and the manager had to go make my burger. The manager also had to make my change, he is the real mvp of that restaurant. The manager literally runs the entire store.
Hoping that the last time we went here was an off day, my wife and I went again. This time I had used the mobile app to pre-order. I saw that I could add jalapeños onto my burger, unfortunately it was 50 cents per burger to add jalapeños. When I am made to pay 50 cents for jalapeños, I expect 50 cents worth of jalapeños on my burgers. When we got there, the line was just as long as the last time and just as slow. When I got to the window they told me that they didn't have the pretzel bun anymore. That seems like something that would be on the app if they ran out, so I had the normal bun. This time the drive thru took 41 minutes for us to get our food. When I ate my burger, there was not a single jalapeño on either burger, and on of the burgers had raw meat. We gave them a second chance, and they have let us down again. We won't be returning even though we live just...
