14 Twenty Bar & Pizza — Restaurant in Columbus

tried it for the first time last night... enjoyed the flavor of the mozzarella basil pizza... crust was good... added pepperoni to it and it had a nice mild spice to it. the garden salad was yummy too, with a mix of a variety of lettuce types... we decided to dine in... they have two small tables each one seating two people.. but fairly clean and comfy... ordered the large salad, big enough for three portions and they gave us one of those tiny round plastic containers of dressing. we asked for two more and they charged us 25 cents for each one. after spending almost $20 that was really petty. I could see that if I had ordered a side salad for one person... then the pizza came out and the toppings were very adequate in the center but most of the outer pieces had almost no cheese at all. so only the inner part of the pizza was enjoyable and the outer was pretty much just crust. So I'd say good but not great, not anything for me to brag about or...

PRO: Selection unique for "pub grub": pulled pork, brisket, spicy chicken wrap,"etc. Interesting selection of beer on tap beyond the usual bud/coors/miller.

Total bill reasonable ($17.66) for a chicken wrap n brisket sandwich both served with fries + one draft beer.

Free Wi-Fi (ask bartender for password)

Cons: 3 stars because soft drinks (coke products) or alcoholic beverages only option (besides water). No iced tea, no coffee.

Difficult to find even with a navigator app. (Entrance buried in an interior parking lot of a large apt. complex)

Neutral: Interior unremarkable.

Outside seating bigger than entire inside bar..this would only be a negative on a crowded winter night. (12-14 seats at bar, 12 seats on tables)

Great beer selection - not sure exactly how many, but well more than 50 to choose from, maybe 70-80. If you can't find something you like, maybe beer isn't for you! Over the past year, this place has gone through some positive changes. The menu has been revamped a bit and a lot of what they serve is now fresh (not frozen) such as fresh chicken, fresh burgers that are hand pattied (is that a word?) and seasoned in the bar (had one the other day and it was great). Homemade chili and homemade pulled pork are also recent additions to the menu. They're all quite good and it gives you plenty of ways to personalize a meal - put the pork or chili on nachos, fries, tator tots, etc. This place is definitely on...
