restaurant inside and out was very nice, walked in and was greeted quickly and seated as there was not alot of people there. Our waitress came over and just seemed very distant seemed like she was in a rush but no one was there. She came over with water and offered for other drinks we ordered sodas, she came back and told her we need a few minutes to look over the menu as this was our first time there. Again she was very distant and rushed away. We waited 20 minutes before she came back over, we were sat close to the door where she sat and talked to the hostess and laughed while we waited.... FINALLY she came over and said sorry... but for what? She knew we sat there that long... we ordered and again rushed away, our food came pretty quickly from a very nice gentleman. I ordered the single burger and cottage fries, my hubby ordered the Po Boy and cottage fries. My burger for being a quick smash burger was pretty good, the fries were way over done so I only had a few. My husband said his sandwhich was just okay, he didnt like the fries. We ate and ate and ate and no sign of our waitress, no refills, no checking up on us not once while we sat there once we got our food. She FINALLY came over and ask us if we needed anything and I said just the check.... it was about 15 seconds for her to get our check.... we ate for about 20 minutes and no sign of her but when we asked for the check its was SECONDS...
So as for the food it was OKAY, mediocre. As for the experience it was HORRIBLE! Now I did watch the other servers, they did their jobs perfectly. Our waitress needs ALOT of training and customer service skills. Would I recommend this place, no. It was a a big let down and maybe I would recommend IF the service...
Read moreYou have got to be kidding.....this place has 41/3 stars. Sorry no way. The service was good. We had to wait for our other party so ordered wings. Bad! Even looked bad like they had set out and then reheated. We ordered. Fish and chips, french dip and Talapia Poboy. The chips are sliced potatoes deep fried and then refried again when ordered. They are so full of grease. The fish was hot with a wimpy batter . Waiter asked if I wanted vinegar, never came, so started eating. Finally when I finished he came up with the vinegar and apologized.....ready for this........he had to wait until another customer was finished with it. This place was half full! Thats all they had was a bottle that everyone shared??? Since the 3rd person never had a french dip he decided to order one. As a result he will probably not order one from another restaurant. The third entree was a Talapia poboy with the over greased potatoes. Her reaction, Horrible. Sorry folks but will never go there. Your are better off to go across the street to...
Read moreFood was good, but i think they should take pub out of their name. This place might have a bar, but it definitely isn't a pub, it is a restaurant. Instead of being surrounded by likeminded alcoholics smoking cigarettes, i found myself aurrounded by retired babyboomers, well to do millennials, and families. We left after our meals for Woodlands.
Oh, they have a limited draft beer selection. Most everything was ipa/pale ale, and every beer I tried was not quite what I had expected. They had some local brews on tap which is nice (wolf's ridge/brewdog) , but they lacked the classics like CBC IPA/Bhodi or Rhinegeist truth.
I had the shrimp poboy with small wedge. It was just ok. Unfortunately I just came back from a trip to NOLA so it did not compare at all, but was a decent imitation.
I wouldn't seek this place out, but I would go again if invited...
