I went to Applebee's in Columbus Indiana. Our waitress was Haylee as our server. We ordered food and apps. Our apps came out and it was the wrong one. We waited for our server Haylee and we let them know it was wrong. She told us they had to take ot away and argued with us. She said they told us we had take it back. Ok fine. We decided to get the one we wanted and just ignore what happened. Meanwhile, Kaylee went to her boss in a purple shirt and told them we were upset ( I am assuming) Purple shirt came and asked what is up. We were caught off guard at first and realize Haylee went and told on us about this. The purple shirt was rude and our replacement order was never put in. We told her to not do the it and just our normal food. We never saw Haylee again until later. We asked her if she needed to ask someone to get us refills. She said "listen listen.. I don't need this at my job and we need to be kind" It was rude and caught us off guard. We decided to not do our food anymore. They then proceeded to bring our bill with everything on it to pay for. We figured that out and left. It was a terrible weird experience that made us look mean when we are not mean people. None of this would have happened if she didn't make it a big deal and tell her boss to speak with us. Very awkward and definitely don't...
Read moreDecided to try and have a quiet dinner but it was loud and many tables were left dirty but the worst was the food. Triple app deal: pretzel sticks, riblets, wontons. Pretzel and riblets over cooked and dried out, wontons were over sauced and yet still lacking flavor. Also order fried bacon cheddar chicken meal, prime rib dipper and an order of mac n cheese. Only thing that came out hot was beer cheese sauce. Chicken was over sauced on bottom and was a gloopy mess, dipper was hammered to the point you couldn’t tell meat from mushrooms and onions…wasn’t described as blackened leather. Mac n cheese was dried out and obviously sat in a warmer for awhile to be thrown in microwave when ordered. Very disappointed in quality of food and sad that nothing we ordered was prepared fresh. Hostess was not happy and barely glanced at us and never smiled. Waiter was fine until we wanted to leave and he was MIA and the table top card reader wasn’t working. In this economy I hate that we’re expected to pay for complete lack of effort and quality. I miss when restaurants hired actual cooks and used quality ingredients…seems strange that we pay more for less and yet staff still aren’t making...
Read moreFood was not that great. Service was awful. My husband and I went then on our wedding night. We was visiting Little Nashville for our honeymoon and by time we checked in it was the only place open. We were there for 2 1/2 hours. The food didnt taste that great my broccoli was way over cooked the $20 steak my husband ordered was not worth $5. And when we went to pay for our meal it was 53.67 we used a $50 gift card that was purchased that same day. The waitress came back to our table 20 min after we gave it to her and said it went through and that we owed $3.67. We gave her a $5 then another 20 min later (mind you this is how long she took everytime she left us at our table) and said it hadn't gone through and that we needed to pay it. The manager came to our table and she was just as dingy if not worse then the waitress. She kept telling me to call a 1800 number, I kept showing her the reciept where the card was purchased that day. I told my husband just pay for the meal another way we will deal with this later. It was the most awful expierence of my life. It ruined me...
