We used to be regular customers of this restaurant for about 2 years. Even after we moved to Reynoldsburg we still used to visit this place once or twice a month. However, Seems like the service staff got changed, or Maybe it is under new management/ownership. We ordered, Chola & Bhatura & Lamb Chops, I completely understand, Lamb should be pinkish however it was too bloody (very raw) after taking a bite, we showed that to the waiter and he realized it was too raw then he threw on trash in the breadbasket where some used paper napkin (trash), and other peace he took inside the kitchen also the trash with thrown pieces. Later, The manager/Chef I think his name is Anand Kumar, came with all the same pieces taken inside but WE GOT SO DISAPPOINTED TO SEE THE PIECES THAT WAS THROWN IN GARBAGE IN THE SERVING PLATE. We talked to Chef/Owner ANAND KUMAR, you guys used the same pieces that was in the trash and now you served and want us to eat them?, We denied eating those orders. Then he took it back to the kitchen, I am sure he will use the same pieces with another guest for profit. He did not try to correct his mistake by making new one or asked about refunds. Anand Kumar is so rude and unprofessional and has no idea how to treat a customer. He did not apologize and he charged us for that dish that they made mistake by mixing food in the trash with others and reserved. we did not like to argue about those things, we simply paid the bills and left. This restaurant's employees and owner/manager need to learn about contamination, and food hygiene things. It was completely waste of time and money. I will never go there anymore and I would advice others to think twice before going there. Worst...
Read moreHorrible service. One star is too generous for this place. I called to order a non-spicy chicken biryani since I would be feeding some of it to my son. I was assured they were not going to put any of the spices in there that would normally make the dish spicy. I arrived for pick up. There was a lady on the phone taking an order from a customer. She never greeted me or acknowledged me. I waited for 5 minutes whilst she explained dishes, made suggestions, gave pricing. That is a lot of time for someone to ignore you whilst they are on the phone. Another gentleman came in, presumably a manager or husband, he went into the back and again did not say hello or offer help, or to get someone else to help me. In the corner of the restaurant there were two kids whom I assumed were hers. The little boy had an electric motor bike plugged into an outlet. He decides he wants to ride this around the restaurant. Comes around the tables and stop at the back of me. Then he orders me to move from where I am standing in the narrow aisle near the counter. When I did not do that fast enough for him, he rode his bike into my leg. He did not apologize, nor did his mom. In fact, this was the only time she held the phone away from her and it was to ask me to move. I mean REALLY! Is this a restaurant or a playground? No one apologized. Finally, I got my takeaway and went home with it. It was very spicy. Even drowning in yogurt, it was spicy. To top it off, I got a piece of light blue plastic something in the rice. I am just eternally thankful it was not in a spoonful that I had given to my son. I will not...
Read moreI've been craving some Indian cuisine for months, and used my birthday as the perfect time to go! This new bistro is absolutely awesome!
Just a quick note to anyone who's seen posts about the lunch buffet - FYI right now it is only on weekdays. We went on a Saturday hoping to get it, but could not on the weekends. It's okay though - stay and order off the menu, it'll be worth it!
The portions are an excellent size, so there is a good chance you'll be taking some treasure home with you!
If you look at my pics, we ordered the bread basket (onion kulcha, garlic naan, and regular naan - the regular naan isn't in my pic because it's a basket all its own) and I got the Chicken Shorba soup as well. All excellent!! In pic 2 (with spoon on front left side) is my husband's Lamb Vindaloo, which he loved!! Pic 3 (spoon on back left side) is my Mushroom Mutter, which I also loved!
If anyone is a baby about spice like me, remember that you CAN customize the spice level. I went with mild in my soup and my dinner. My husband went with medium.
I loved the presentation - really cool stainless steel bowls, and the food was gorgeously prepared. This chef knows what he's doing!
I know a lot of people feel intimidated going into a restaurant with a cuisine you're not entirely familiar with, but you do not need to feel that way here. Our waiter was warm and welcoming, and I'm sure if I would've had questions, he would've been more than happy to help out!...
