I loooove noodles.
Drove about 30 minutes to get here with a empty stomach. The store looked cute and intimate. We got to pick anywhere we like to sit.
I ordered the crossing bridge noodle with the tomato soup, karaage chicken, and cucumber salad. Service was fast, the lady who took our order seemed timid and a bit quiet.
The karaage chicken was delicious, nicely fried and the sauce that came with it was also very good. The cucumber salad was okay, a lot of the other cucumber salad ive had has their cucumber beaten until it's tender before it's chopped, that way it can absorb the sauce easily and it's tastier that way.
The soup came while it was still boiling, came with the side items you're suppose to throw into the soup. The side items had raw meat that youre suppose to throw into the soup first so it can cook. Otherwise, it wouldn't cook at all after you throw everything else in 😆. The noodles are pre-cooked for you so you could just throw them right into the soup without worry. However, I like my noodles chewy and slightly firm but theirs was maybe a little too cooked and was a bit soft and slightly soggy for my liking. Overall, the soup tasted great, it was a large portion for me so i couldnt finish it all.
4 stars for service, food, and interior design. Missing star was because my noodles got a bit soggy while...
Read moreIt's been awhile since I've been back but it feels cozy and warm just as before. There's an abundance of parking in their lot and a decent amount of tables inside. The restaurant is warm, inviting, and cozy.
We got the Classic broth and the Mala broth, as well as a Scallion Pancake. The broths were yummy, made well and flavorful but the Mala wasn't spicy. There is chili oil and vinegar on each table to help season your food. The toppings came out in little dishes and they were good and it's a good idea for customizing what you want or don't want. The broth comes out boiling hot and then you add your toppings and noodles. Each noodle dish comes with an abundance of noodles and a good amount of each toppings. I thought the beef and shrimp were both good proteins for our broths. The scallion pancake was okay. I felt like it wasn't as crispy as it should have been and it is one piece cut into 4. The scallion pancake was not very flavorful but it was good to try. Each bowl was around $15 dollars but they have some that are a bit more expensive. They also offer rice bowls and ramen! You can also purchase additional toppings
Staff was very nice and accommodating but we didn't have much interaction.
I recommend this place for some yummy noodles, a date, family outing, a good meal, or...
Read moreWe stumbled upon this restaurant and we were blown away. Authentic Chinese and Japanese foods that were delicious and a joy to eat. Friendly, helpful, and patient staff made ordering easy. The menu appears confusing at first but it's written in two languages and is quite easy to navigate after a minute of reading. Some of these negative reviews are unfathomable and ridiculous. This is high end food at middle class pricing.
Three generations from 20 to 80 couldn't stop talking about how good the food is. The elderly couple tried new foods that they never would have ordered otherwise and liked everything they ate. Add to that the large portion sizes for the price and it's a place we will be returning to repeatedly.
As usual, I forgot to take a picture until I'd eaten half of it. The fried pork bowl was very good. The takoyaki deserved its own photo and was delicious. But that disappeared too quickly to document. The steamed vegetable gyoza was nice. The karaage (fried chicken) steamed buns were large and delicious and for $7 for 2 would make a nice meal. The Golden Sour Crossing Bridge Noodle hot pot is great if you...
