My husband and I just visited this location and I'm beyond positive we will not return. Things started out good then quickly declined after getting our food. Keep in mind it was not at all busy in the drive thru and there was 1 person in the lobby. My fries were fresh which was awesome, but when I took a bite of my nugget I was very disappointed as they weren't even room temperature and hard. I proceeded to spit the bite of nugget out of my mouth to be discarded and put the remainder of the bitten nugget into the paper sleeve. I went to the counter asked for fresh nuggets which seemed pretty reasonable. What wasn't reasonable was the lady behind the counter. She wanted to argue with me that they were fresh and didn't want to hear what I had to say. I doubled down that they were cold and asked for fresh nuggets again. The lady finally took the nuggets, but this is when things really went downhill.
The lady picked up the tongs that are used to dispense the nuggets TO REMOVE THE NUGGET I HAD IN MY MOUTH THEN PUT THEM BACK😱🤢🤮 Soon as I seen this I was so disgusted and loudly told my husband what I just witnessed. One of the ladies from the back quickly removed those tongs and the tongs next to them and replaced them. I decided I no longer wanted to eat there and quicky tried to catch the woman's attention to let her know I wanted a refund on my food with no luck. I stood there for over a minute yelling to catch her attention before what I thought was fresh nuggets being made to cut down on food waste. I went to the table collected my food for a refund. The woman came from the back saying the nuggets were ready I told her I no longer wanted my food and checked the nuggets for my husband. Y'all, they put the nuggets in the damn microwave🤦 At that point I told her I wanted a full refund and collected my husband's food to return. After getting my money and receipt back I asked if she was the manager and she said she was which really got to me that a manager would ignore all food safety and do something so nasty. I can only imagine the unsanitary things that have gone down at that location where customers haven't seen to complain about. We did not have HALF of our order, didn’t have our drinks, didn’t have syrup, and our food was cold and hard. So then my fiancé tried to call them, no answer. He went back to the location and they told him that he was pissing them off and that they were going to call the police on him because he was upset about not getting half of what we ordered. Finally they remade the things they missed but still didn’t give us syrup and the sweet tea we ordered had zero ice in it when we did NOT say that we didn’t want any ice. Today, was no exception. Did not ring my order in correctly and could not give me a receipt of my transaction. Even, the district Manager could not figure it out, go figure! This is who is teaching the revolving door of GM's (brand new GM, currently). What this store is great at? They specialize in, making excuses and defending there employees who screw up the orders. Today, I now know why this restaurant is so HORRiBLE. After talking to the district manager, he was also an expert in excuses, even though they are the ones that can not get an order right.
