I have always bragged about this place and brought phenomenal amount of business to this family run restaurant! Haven't been going that often since my normal order is fajitas has been coming out extremely soggy and did explain this to the owner! Customer service used to be always top notch but not the last couple of times and this evening wasn't that good! awful confrontation with the owner the owner has always been Jolly, friendly, and kind but I can tell the last couple of times we've been in there he's usually on his phone or in a bad mood and the employees not to happy either. Yes like at 8:20 p.m. and soon as you walked in the door you can tell that you was bothering the owner of that was at the hostess stand/ cashier! Try to strike a conversation with him just to get him to smile and ask him about his other businesses. Our waitress came to the table also she too not very happy. Could tell that there was a language barrier or she didn't understand what I was communicating with my order. My order did come out wrong and I explained to her I wanted red sauce over my enchilada and burrito and yes she did bring it but I also wanted cheese sauce on the side maybe I ordered that wrong but I tried to go clarify with my chips and queso needless to say she gave us refills on our water but we asked for refills did not get it on the chips or salsa and not very many chips to eat the queso. I asked the owner was there anything wrong and what was going on and he said noting but multiple conversations were going at cashier and sounded like what we can understand! I do not speak Spanish but my son understood some of it and about us and others couple eating. I asked for chips to go and a cup to put my queso in since I did not have much chips then I didn't understand what she was saying and she says she has to go talk to the owner about that first of all that didn't make any sense then they had a lengthy conversation at the register again! When I got my bill I'm being charged for Chips To Go. Call the waitress up to the register and spoke in Spanish and she said yes she brought refills of chips and water this is not true but the water she did. He made it clear then of course he's the owner that he has to pay for those chips and that they're not free now everyone knows usually at all Mexican restaurants when you sit down for dinner you usually get refills on salsa and chips this is the first time we did not and shouldn't have to argue with the owner or a waitress that we had a major miscommunication over chips then he made it clear that he doesn't have to when I bring groups in with kids with disabilities to only charge me kids meal price he only has done this for one student EVER and everyone else ordered off the regular menu! Now would you want to eat at this restaurant after that confrontation and the owner being rude and specially when we asked him to come to the table to explain the bill and SAID JESUS CHRIST? So of course after the owner has to say Jesus Christ and be rude and his waitress rude no way would I bring children with disabilities, family and friends that I have done ever since this place has been open when customer service has been slacking and yes I've been reading some of the recent reviews and they're not good and here I used to always give them good reviews!!!! Makes me sad to see family business turn like this when I'm a big Advocate on supporting small family businesses !!! We all have bad days and just think we came to eat here after leaving my mother in the hospital. So to the owner SORRY FOR COMING IN AT 8:20 and bothering the owner and waitress. PS THE OWNER NEEDS TO UNDERSTAND even though we're not Hispanic we was able to interpret and most of the conversations being held in the restaurant with the staff and the owner and will not put on here what we actually was able to interpret but I will tell you have open ears if you do eat in this restaurant and hear what they say about the customers very embarrassing very unprofessional and very sad that a business owner can...
Read moreNow I know the food from here is what makes me sick. This is the fourth time I have seen the same dish, and hours later the same effect. Felt like I was going to die, vomiting, nauseous, like food poisoning symptoms that last five to seven hours then I'm better. I have heard the same thing from other people. I gave them the benefit of the doubt and ate there a few more times, but Everytime the same thing! So now I'm 102% sure it is coming from there! My husband and I think the workers are not properly washing their hands, using gloves when preparing the food and also not switching out expired food in the fridge!! The owner can't even spell correctly, how professional is that?? One of these days someone is going to go to the hospital and when the doctors test the person and find out they had food poisoning or something bad due to the food they ate at Camilas ,they are going to be in for it. Never will we eat from there again! The dish was the...
Read moreAbsolutely the worst service I have ever had at a restaurant. Went for my birthday and ordered our food 3 of us got our food and my friend didn't get her food, so I waited to eat until she got her food and 25 minutes passed without getting anything. Finally I got up and asked about it and then 10 minutes later finally got it. It was not what she had ordered and by this time my food was ice cold. We decided just to eat it so we didn't have to wait any longer. Had to take our drinks to the bar area for refills and never got our extra salsa we asked for in the beginning. The wait staff just stood around talking and not helping anyone. I tried to tell the cashier about it and he just dismissed it and said have a good day. I will never eat here again. I have heard many people complain about the service lately and dismiss it but now I see it isn't a place I will recommend to anyone or be returning. Long time...
