July 2025 Review Although employees are still typically very friendly and courteous, the speed and accuracy these days is hot or miss. A couple of weeks ago I ordered ahead, yet when I got to the pickup window I was told it would be a 5+ minute wait because they were out of biscuits. Really? During breakfast hours, how do you run out of biscuits? Also, ordering through the phone should tell them they have biscuit orders coming up. Yesterday's experience was a total disaster. Again, we ordered in the app. The positive is now the app recognizes when you are there, so supposedly they start preparing your meal before you get to the order taker. Unfortunately, the car directly in front of us in our lane had a massive order. We got the the window and watched a large number of cars go through the other line go through, while we sat and waited. We watched our milkshakes sitting next to the hotel open doorway as they served everyone else. Eventually the order for the car in front of us came and then ours quickly followed. I think we were in line about 15 minutes total. Once we got home we realized my husband's sandwich was completely missing, my daughter's sandwich was spicy, when it should have been normal. Her sandwich along with another had the wrong toppings that we had paid extra for. The yogurt parfait was warm. The receipt had everything correct. Epic fail.
Original review from many years ago... I already loved Chick Fil A, but they made my day when during breakfast hours they told my daughter she could order anything from the lunch menu. She just might have to wait a bit floor it to be cooked. Great food and...
Read moreFor some reason, the stand alone Chick-fil-A's in Columbus, all seem to have major flow problems with their drive through service. They could all benefit from a flow analysis by a traffic engineer. I don't suggest you go here if you want a quick and easy meal.
Polaris seems to be the worst but my visit to the Sawmill location wasn't much better. You first have to drive around the restaurant just to get in line for the drive through. This creates a lot of additional traffic at the restaurant. Once in line, you're split into 2 lanes and order from staffers with Ipads. Fortunately. I knew what I wanted because my person didn't have a menu. You then move up to another staffer, with Ipad, who registers your payment. I used a gift card and all seemed good until the next step. Next you merge into 1 line and are greeted by another staffer. They ask you name to, I assume, set you place in line. He also informed me my gift card was short of my totsl so I had to pull out another card to cover the difference. That held up the line for a bit. Finally, at the window, another staffer greated me and, again, asked my name. They couldn't find my order, at first, but had it in short order. The whole process took 30-40 minutes, so if you want quick service I'd avoid this restaurant. Also, after all that, my iced tea, ordered with a shot of lemonade, turned out to be just unsweet tea. Wasn't about to go through that again to have them correct my order. Great food but the drive through experience will keep me...
Read moreI love Chick-fil-A!!! Love the food. And usually the service... But not at this location. First time I came to this one was I went through the drive thru and was told to pull up and wait, no explanation. Five cars then got there food behind me. Still no food for me. Eight minutes has gone by. Then I park to go in and ask what's up with my order (was only 2 spicy chicken sandwiches). They said it wasn't ready... Another five minutes go by and I finally get my food but with no I'm sorry for your wait or anything (BTW they weren't busy either). Once, at another location, I waited only like 2-3 minutes for my and they were so apologetic and gave me a coupon for a free sandwich. That was crazy because I didn't even think it was that long of a wait, plus they were busy.
So one bad visit I was like hey I'll give them another chance. Boy was that a mistake. This time I downloaded the App to use the mobile pick-up, thinking it would be faster. Spolier warning! It was not. I walk in to the sign for mobile pick-up. Waiting about 5 minutes I then ask someone, is anyone doing mobile pick-up orders? Then he says yes and gets my food. Hence 4 groups went to the normal register and get there food before me and I was even in the building before them plus had a mobile order so should have been ready right away. At least this time the guy said sorry for the wait.
So Dublin location I'm done with you. Chick-fil-A I still love your food and will eat it. But just not from...
