I usually shop at this Target at least twice a month and usually have just fine service but my last experience was horrible. Traveling through the store was fine. I found nearly everything on my list but the bad experience started at the checkout. Of course I don't remember the cashiers name and it's not on my receipt but he had horrible customer service skills. He didn't greet us (my mom and I), he talked down to me when we asked about removing items from my friends baby registry, and heaven forbid I tried to use some Target coupons at the end of my order.
The first coupon didn't work because it was $5 off of $35 or more for their Converse items and of course their Converse Woman's shoes were $34.99...what a joke! So I asked him politely if he could remove the shoes from our order and that I would take them back for him and he just looked at me like I was stupid and like it was incredibly hard to remove an item from an order (it's not, I do it ALL the time at my work) and threw them under his register to return later. He then scanned the next coupon which also didn't work. It was for some specific hair product that I thought I grabbed but apparently it was slightly different but the same price. So I told him I could also take that item back and exchange it for the correct one and he just handed it to me. Meanwhile, the line behind us was growing and when I started to go back and return the item a customer rudely exhaled and said "Jesus.." under her breath and I said some words to her but that's beside the point.
So my mom finishes the order while I returned and exchanged the hair product myself and at this point I was just done but my mom insisted we bought the stuff. So we went over to the next register that had nobody in line and the cashier was also extremely rude! She acted almost insulted that we went to her line because she was just about to call over another customer with a full cart and we had ONE ITEM. We also paid with cash. Again, no greeting, just scanned the item and coupon, said the total, and handed me my change. I apologize for writing such a large review but believe me if this Target had a review service I would have left this there. If I was a secret shopper, like I get at the store where I work, they would have received a very low score and I would never recommend this store to someone else. I have worked in customer service for many years, it's not that hard to be genuinely nice to customers...even on a bad day! It's part...
Read moreBoycotting this store. I recently moved 2 blocks from this store. I walked there a few times after work, and simply wont be going back for 2 major reasons.
3 out of 3 visits to this store I have encountered people who were covered from head to toe in arabic dresses and face masks, showing only their eyes. I will not shop at any store that allows this.
I was followed by security every time I went into this store, and all three times, they had a security guard by the door, waiting for a confirmation from the security guy following me. each time, I caught signals from the guy following me to the guy at the door, and noticed how conveniently he left his post only after getting the high sign from my follower. After working 11 hr days as a concrete finisher, I look dirty, tired, and hungry, but I dont wear face masks and dresses that conceal my entire body. So long as this store lets foreigners who conceal their identity and speak words Americans can not understand, and the store security blatantly follows hardworking Americans around like they are trying to steal the tv dinner and 2 liter they have in their basket, I would rather go right across the street to Meijer, or cruise a mile down the street to wal mart or...
Read moreI bought several drinks that were heavy, and the cashier only gave me one bag. It nearly ripped but I luckily noticed so held it from the bottom instead of the handles to avoid it breaking. After shopping I stopped by the Starbucks here to get my much needed caffeine fix. I ordered a grande java chip frap with a shot of espresso on top aka affagato style. I went to grab my drink and noticed the whip cream completely clean and unfazed so I just kindly asked (literally the nicest, kindest tone as I used to work this job and understand the chaos of it) the barista if there was a shot in it, and this girl SNAPPED at me in the rudest tone "YES." As if I had just become the most difficult, insensitive customer ever. I was taken back. It wasn't exactly what I ordered and I paid nearly $8, God forbid I double check, I guess? This was around 3:45pm on 8/3 . Please be kinder, you don't know what people are going through or dealing with. I will go out of my way to not visit this location again, just left a really bad taste in my mouth, which sucks because I usually really enjoy my...
