I had to change my review. Ordered 10 piece all dark meat containing thighs and drumsticks. They gave me meat with breast and thighs. I wasted half my order and had to pay extra for it.
The bad thing about this was I was on the phone with a manager who could not fix my issue or recommend who I could go to for help.
Asked for extra hot sauce and did not receive any at all and this also happened with my napkins.
Since this day the Manager has not called me back regarding my issue, I actually got it resolved.
When establishments in Columbus accept gift cards and third party services, they should get the proper training to utilize those services to the fullest. Not, ooh, I do not know how to do it and that is it. What type of service is that.
One more thing, went to the establishment on Monday and missed the Veterans eat free. Once my order was rung up, I asked the Manager if I could get that discount or free meal. She told me know because the order had already been rung up.
I worked in the Information Technology filed in Hawaii where I sett up those POS systems. I also worked as an Accountant for establishments with Retail stores and they had no problems issuing refunds on the credit card machine. Your money is simple put back on your credit card.
They need to be more careful on orders, employees and managers need to be trained more and work on a better customer service experience.

Read moreMy experience with Church's Fried Chicken on Buena Vista Road in Columbus, GA was quite memorable...and not in a good way. There were three people in line ahead of me and I was confident that the wait would not delay my travels by more than 20-30 minutes. WRONG! My simple order of two 2-piece DARK meat chicken dinners with two okras instead of mashed potatoes was taken and paid for and then the wait began. Several people that were in line behind me were served and gone and yet we still waited. I figured the wait was because of fresh okra being fried so the wait was forgiven. Still more people being served and leaving. Still waiting...! After waiting over 40 minutes I finally walked back to the counter and overheard the young lady tell another customer they were out of corn and cole slaw she settled for mashed potatoes. The girl told me they were out of okra so I asked about macaroni and cheese and was told that would be a 9 minute wait. I settled for mashed potatoes. When we finally got out dinners and opened our boxes my sister had a broken leg and a dried out piece of breast and my box had a dry wing and a thigh. Needless to say I did not complain for fear that we would be delayed even longer. Our trip was delayed by 1 hour and 15 minutes due to this experience. Also the Ladies restroom was Out of Order. Read moreMy son ordered a 12 piece chicken meal (accidentally ordering all spicy) on his phone app. We drove up to the place, went to the drive through speaker to let them know we were there. The snarling voice that erupted from that speaker was unintelligible, so I drove to the window. I tried to ask the manager if she could change the order to half-spicy, half original chicken, but was cut off in mid sentence with her snarling "You get it HOW YOU ORDER IT!! Park in front of the building and we'll bring it to you when it's done!"
Feeling put off by her attitude, I did as requested...and we sat there for a good 20 minutes while two other customers walked in, got their orders (one was rather large) and left.
We finally got our order; but when we got it home, the chicken appeared to be overdone, and the mashed potatoes were lukewarm, at best.
If this is Church's idea of quality customer service, I'll take my future...
