Dairy Queen (Treat) — Restaurant in Columbus

I recently graced the Dairy Queen (DQ) on Indianola Avenue with my presence. It was during that time that I decided to purchase late night dinner and dessert for my wife and me. I couldn’t believe my eyes, as I drove past DQ where there stood a line of 10+ cars in the drive-thru that wrapped around the building and into the street! Can you believe that! Thankfully, the 25-minute-wait in line proved to be worth the trouble. My meal consisted of tender slices of chicken covered in breading that was fried to crunchy perfection (i.e. Chicken Tenders); unruly stacks of hot, golden fries that are French; a slice of fresh Texas toast all dressed up in golden U.S. grade A butter, and a tiny vat’s-worth of what I am sure is home-cooked white country gravy! IT. WAS. DELICIOUS! I also ordered a towering chocolate-vanilla swirl cone, double-dipped in chocolate. It, too, was delicious and satisfied demands of my sweet tooth.

Now, my wife picked her favorite menu item: cheese curds. They’re so tasty, especially when they’re fresh and hot! To conclude her meal, she finished with the ever-ambrosial Heath Brownie Blizzard, made with chocolate ice cream. The cold and creamy chocolate soft-serv was the foundation for decadent English toffee chunks covered in a thick layer of smooth milk chocolate, soft and chewy brownie nuggets, and caramel all joined together in connubial bliss! We visited this location tonight around 7:40- 7:50 09/13/2024 and my order was made wrong so I took it back the guy working there at the window tried to argue me down and say my order was correct. I get the same thing every single time from every location I’ve visited including from this location. large snickers blizzard and never has it been made with chocolate syrup. Instead of just fixing the order and sending me on my way he was very rude and argumentative he has horrible customer service and needs to find a new job that’s not dealing with people. Completely unprofessional and I would not recommend this restaurant to anyone. The picture is what I’ve received every single time I’ve ever ordered a snickers blizzard including from this location previously. This damn ice cream taste so spoiled and I believe they had foul intentions in making my order. I’ve been physically sick since I took 1 bite of this trash. Just horrible all around. went to this location tonight and pulled up to the menu. nobody says a word to us. after several minutes and seeing other customers park, walk up, and leave with their order we say "hello" and are then instructed to wait. we're the only vehicle in line. ok, a couple more minutes pass. when they finally take our order my friend got something and I ordered a Royal Cheesecake Blizzard.

as we're pulling away I noticed mine was incorrect. it was some bland flavored ice cream, no chunks of cheesecake, no strawberry. I went back and to the in-person window and nicely informed them of the mistake and what I had ordered. they "remake" it and give me this gross thing in the photo. looks like they just took the original item and covered it in strawberry syrup.
