I really do wish that i was able to give more than a 5 star 🌟 rating on the service i received earlier this evening from the young man running the drive-through, because before arriving at this DQ i had went to Sheetz, then next door to the Steak and Shake because for some strange reason i was craving a root beer float. And at the other two locations, i was told that since it wasn't on their menu, that they weren't going to be able to make me a root beer float even though they both had the ice cream and root beer needed to make my float. 🤯 But as soon as i pulled in at the Dairy Queen, the young man, when asked if they had root beer floats, said that for you, we could make one, sir. We'll first off. i was surprised by his greeting of being called sir, instead of the usual smart ellick responses when asking for one at the two previous places of dude that's not even on our menu, how could we charge you for it? Secondly, when he handed me my float, i asked him how much more would it cost me to get like a little cup halfway filled with root beer? Because if you don't have extra root beer, all you end up with at the end is just vanilla ice cream. He said that the little extra root beer was on him, and he returned within 30 seconds with my additional root beer. So, for just speaking respectfully to people and not like Westside Trash, i wish i could give him a 10 star rating. Also, i went inside to wash my hands before leaving, and the store was clean and being mopped by another respectful young lady. So keep up the great service, and PS my float was...

My wife and I have been going to this Dairy Queen once a week for years and the service has always been great. Tonight I was in the drive through line and was giving my order when the person taking it cut me off and said "just pull around." I was also never given a price for my order. I thought that was strange given we had always had great experiences before. I pulled out of line and went in the store and told someone that I had been cut off and wanted to know who I was talking to.

After a couple minutes went by, the guy who was taking orders came out and had a fake smile on asking me what my problem was. I told him that he had cut me off and that I never got a price and I didn't think that was good customer service. His response was "I told you that I couldn't hear you multiple times." He absolutely did not because I was still ordering when he rudely told me to pull around. However, to counter his point that he couldn't hear me, he knew what blizzard I had ordered. So apparently he could hear me. Either way, he didn't seem interested in anything but being rude and not interested in taking the rest of my order.

For the record, maybe they were having speaker problems. if a customer comes in with a valid complaint, you don't approach it with a crap-eating grin acting like it couldn't be possible you did anything wrong.

This evening at about 7.30 pm with some of my friends, we went to your place in Georsgeville Square to get a chocolate blizzard as we have done few times over this past summer. A young man in red hood sweatshirt was rude taking our orders telling us we don't do chocolate blizzard 2 or 3 times. The third time, he said I told you we don't do chocolate blizzard louder. Then we came up to pay for different orders, and the cashier, young man with a blue tee shirt, was cordial, ask us to repeat our oder. We were repeating our orders we also added that we weere surprised not getting chocolate blizzards but could not. The rude young man interrupted all of us, jumped in front of his colleague and got more rude, nasty and told us: I told you, you were not going to get chocolate blizzards so asking another person is not going to get you one. Then after paying,, we received our orders. The rude young man came back and said give me your cup, took it off our hands and with no explanation came back. No idea what he did.

I am very surprised, disappointed how the customer service was poor or none from that young man. Don't you advertise for your chocolate or different flavors of blizzards products?
